Hi
Well I have one DS who was a result of 2.5 years TTC, one miscarriage at five weeks before him. We had got told that chances of having natural baby were very small due to lazy sperm (not the technical term I know). Anyway we have managed to get pregnant twice so I see that as a good sign?
It has now been 21 months of TTC and I am getting desperate now. I am nearly 38 so time is not on my side. For the first time I purchased ovulation sticks yesterday, the clearblue ovulation ones so we can at least know we are trying at the right time rather than guesswork. One thing I am not sure about is what to count as first day of my period. Some periods I have spotting for a few days before the main flood, so to speak. Do I count the spotting as day one? Or wait for the full on force of it? You'd think I'd know this!
I know I am lucky to have one dc bunt would hate for him to be an only child. Three of my nct group already have number two as well as two friends who had their dc's the same time as me. One of my friends has just announced she is pregnant with no. 5, and number three is the same age as mine. Sometimes it seems so unfair although I know ( and I stress this) I know, I am lucky to have one healthy lovely son.
Any words of wisdom gratefully received, feeling very new and struggling to decipher a lot of the acronyms on here so please be gentle with me.
