Is it possible to have a two day heavy bleed and be pregnant?

What I thought was my period started Saturday morning, it was as heavy as normal (and my periods are heavy) and carried on exactly the same through Sunday. Oddly I had no period pain/cramping..

Then, this morning I woke to find I was no longer bleeding, just a bit of pink spotting when I wiped until this afternoon.. I've never had a short period before, they've always been 5 days.

I've always thought women that do bleed around the time of their period and then find out they're pregnant mistake light bleeding/spotting for a period, but this was heavy..

Obviously I'm going to do a test tomorrow.. but while I wait for morning, has anyone experienced similar? arrgh or what if it was my period.. what's happening to them!

Oh wow that is really exciting though. This is our fourth month since coming off the pill and I think even though everyone says about how long it can take, I just kind of expected it to happen quick. I'm so impatient and we're both really broody. Enjoying the trying though

Im having similar..... I had a very strange short period that stopped on Saturday and then today i had discharge like you would normally get when ovulating which is obvious far too early for my next cycle?

i had one heavy day the next day i had my normal period and then had a gush of clear liquid...no idea what that was as never had that before and then just had spotting since then until saturday when i stopped completely and then today the discharge.

Anyone had anything similar? we are trying but dont want to get my hopes up or waste a test as I have just had a period just very short :/

I had what they call (implantation bleeding). That lasted 2 days.. I was 6 wks pregnant at that point xx

Also having a similar issue... had a 36hr bleed from Thursday afternoon. Spotting ever since. The bleed started 9DPO and I suspected a short luteal phase. Now 13dpo and tested again and bfn. But driving myself crazy with this not believing I'm fully out. Similar happened with my last pregnancy. Had a three day light bleed and found I was pregnant a week later! But feel like a should be getting at least a hint of a line at 13dpo?

I am new on here. Can someone please give me some advice?

I'm TTC... I used a clearblue digital ovulation test on Saturday 4th March and it displayed a smiley face.... so me and my husband made love on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It's now Wednesday and I've got some bleeding... could this be implantation bleeding? It's been 5 days since I've been Ovulating..

So I'm late to this thread and new to the site! I had my coil out after 7 years (trying for baby 3) I had a bleed hours after removal (totally expected) 6 days later I had what I assumed was a period, I had no idea when I'd be due as I didn't get periods whilst on the coil. On the 21.08 I took an ovulation test and have done everyday since. All are coming up positive. BUT 25/26 I experienced very and I mean VERY heavy bleeding. But I'm still ovulating?! Can anyone give any insight??

I had a what I thought was a short period while I was a month pregnant with my son. I didn't think I was pregnant as I assumed I had had a period. About a week later I started getting bad nausea and two weeks after that I decided a two week long stomach bug seemed unusual so I tested and got a BFP. Had scan a week later as I had another short bleed and that's when I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant. So it is possible. 👍🏻

Can anyone help my period seems to be all over the place these past 2 months, last month had 6 days spotting before my period this time had spotting for 8 days then my period was 4 days early and only lasted 3 days which normally are 5-6 and now spotting again 2 days after period.

my last period was 5th February and the next period was supposed to be on the 4th of march . And on the 4th i didnt get any period i used clear blue to test on the 8th march and it says pregnant 1-2 weeks. on the 12 i started to spot, 13 it was heavy and big cloth where i used two pads and also having terrible back pain. I dont know if it is a miscourage or it is possible to bleed while you are pregnant? because one of my colleague got her period twice while she is pregnant. Me and my partner are ttc. Had coil removed 28th may, had normal period 3rd June lasting 3 days (which is normal for me) had another 1st July again 3 days. Then Tuesday just gone (24th July) had 2days light on/off bleeding (not normal) had lower tummy/back pain. Then 26th/27th/28th nothing at all but today (which is the day my period due) I have bleeding but only when I wipe 🤔 also a lil lower back pain. Took a cheap Poundland test Friday morning, came back negative 😔 but so confused.
Any advice please?xx

I started bleeding on the Thursday 28th day of my cycle bang on time it was heavy then friday it calmed down then by tea it stopped then Saturday morning I was spotting till about tea time again stopped and not lost nothing since done 2 tests both negative but have pregnancy syptoms we have been trying 9 months to get pregnant , can any one help because I'm so confused

Can I be pregnant if my period was a couple days late but it only lasted 2 days but was super heavy ?

Hey no I didn’t this particular time but I was pregnant 4 months later so maybe it was just my body resetting from being off the pill? Either way fingers crossed for you xx

How far along were you when you found out? My husband and I are ttc and I just had my period come early normal bleeding for a day and the. 2 days barely spotting. But I got a BFN the day before I started.

I had the same, I bled Tuesday and Wednesday and stopped, not heavy cramping either , on Friday I noticed yellowish brownish discharge Ive never seen before and little bit of pink blood , I've done a few tests since then , looks like a very faint line, so yeah gonna wait til tomorrow or wed to try again!! Would be nice to get those two lines, would be a great Christmas present ❤️
