If I were you I would gestimate how many units your dh is drinking a week, it is bound to be over the recommended limit (before dd dh & I were well over the rec limit, aren't most people) so the GP will pretty much have to tell him to cut down.

Sorry everyone's having a shitty time at the moment. It really gets to you. I had a chat with pregnant best friend, I just can't actually see myself with a baby anymore. She said its my defences goin up, just in case and reassured me the best she could, bless her.

Last month there were bfps everywhere this month its all bad news. Sorry red, nicola and winkle that things are just shit at the moment. I'm glad they're looking at what's happening with u whenshewas. It's about time!

I worry about H2B's drinking. Not that it's excessive, but it can go over the recommended level. Though this last month he has had far less. Which means that if I'm not up duffed prior to the wedding, he will have super sperm by then :-)

I had a small tow with DH just a bit snappy today. He managed to pacify me and told me it'll be ok. Just try to picture me holding my baby and it seems so unreal right now. filling up on wine this weekend and going to be positive come Monday

The plans are fine...we actually argued more about people not coming / not RSVPing. Now the deadline has passed, everything is OK again.

We have a few details to tie up, most of which will be sorted on Sept 15, as we have a meeting at the venue.

It was funny last week as my sister came up and we were talking about how we would do things on the morning of the wedding. It ended up sounding like when they're planning in Shaun of the Dead! We all mentioned The Winchester at the same time. :-)

Nic - he thinks he's cut down but I don't think he has. This week he was going to go out on Tuesday but I told him not to, he had 6 cans last night and he's out tomorrow. Too much for TTC I think.

Whenshe when is your scan date? I had swabs taken last week, blood today and then I have the scan on 11th Sept.

hi everyone

af arrived for me today. First one since mc. Feel ok about it - have had a tiny bit of spotting/brown discharge this week. I was so desperate to be pg but then I thought that if I am having this brown discharge, it probably means that my body wasn't ready for it. Hopefully this af will clear everything out and my endo lining can get nice and ready for next month. It also means that I will be able to scuba dive on great barrier reef and although I'd much rather be pg, I am excited about this. Hopefully we'll have lots of relaxed dtd on holiday and we might catch the egg.

One question though - do you think I should count first day of af as first day of spotting or first day of there being enough to need a pad?

I count from the first day it appears, but only have a couple of hours between first spotting and full on AF

I'm sorry woody but good that there is a positive side to, your surposed to count it from the first day you have a flow but it doesnt really matter as long as you do the same thing every month

kitty what does it mean by flow? More than just when you wipe?

It means when it's heavy I surposed, I have spotting for a day or so so abit of brown and I class it from when I'd start using tampons or needed to usually the second day
