We filled the last one so I thought I would start no 2.

:(

I did too and got a BFN as well but I didn't expect anything else really.

Sorry Winkle :(

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 17/08/2012 13:34

Sorry winkle and kick

We're not doing that well this month are we?

redstrawberry · 17/08/2012 14:34

Looks like its a night in with a good film and wine :( lots of it.

winkle2 · 17/08/2012 14:36

I'm sick of shagging and it amounting to nothing

winkle2 · 17/08/2012 15:44

So I just get an email from my friend who's pregnant with baby number 2 and I don't even have number 1 yet.

I'm so sick of life!

kittykatsforever · 17/08/2012 15:55

Im sorry girls, it has been a shit month hasn't it Sad you could still be abit early winkle, remember atleast you've carried on dtd well after your peak so I don't think your out just yet < hopeful face>
I too had a friend pg with number two before my first when we'd started trying for number 1 together, no 2 wasn't planned either Envy but I did catch a few months later, I wasn't best pleased at the time though!
Plenty of room in the cod with me however
( And alcohol.......... Shhhh)

winkle2 · 17/08/2012 16:01

Thanks Kitty. Supposed to be DTD tonight but really not up for it. Just feel sad, tired of life and depressed.

I'm annoyed with my husband because even though his morphology came back as 1%, he's planned a night out drinking with his mates.

And even if he stopped drinking from now, it takes 3 months for good sperm to be produced so I'm still going to be waiting.

I feel like I have no one to talk to. My friend is really good and patient but I can't keep repeating myself to her. And my husband says our whole life has been taken over by TTC so I don't want to mention anything to him.

Kittenkatzen · 17/08/2012 16:09

We really are all a maudlin bunch this week aren't we :(:(:(

Sorry everyone's feeling so down. It really does seem like there are people getting upduffed everywhere at the moment doesn't it - as of today, I have two colleagues both pregnant with twins, SIL pregnant, 2 friends pg with #1 (1 trying, 1 accident), 1 friend pg with #2....EnvyEnvy. Oh and another colleague has just arrived into the office with her 2 littlies for a visit. Sigh.

I vote we all of us decamp to the COD together for the duration of the weekend, eat obscene amounts of chocolate, drink ridiculous amounts of wine and feel generally sorry for ourselves. I've started on the chocolate already (cadbury caramel buttons....will share, maybe)

winkle2 · 17/08/2012 16:12

I can't eat bad food either cause I'm on a diet ! Woe is me! I relaxed my diet when I started TTC thinking that I'm gonna get pregnant and fat anyway! Year later I'm not pregnant but I am fat!

All these month's of nothing is just confirming the feeling I have that it's never going to happen for me.

Lolcbcb · 17/08/2012 16:23

I'm up for it!
Just realised I don't understand the name of the thread lol
What is COD????
Glad u lot welcomed me even though I had no idea!
I will be running a massive branch for the next 3 weeks and will have plenty to worry about. So might not even notice if af is late! as if that's possible

redstrawberry · 17/08/2012 16:24

I feel fat and miserable too. I am on a healthy diet -but it seems like I seem to be putting on more weight with this TTC business than loosing it.

Its bad enough that we go through crap but the pregnancy emails and announcements make it so much worse. Its like you get punched by BFNs and kicked on top of it. When did life get so unfair?

I have focused on work today and realized I haven't thought about it for a few hours. So its helped a bit. But now I am back to thinking - will I or wont I ever get pregnant....

redstrawberry · 17/08/2012 16:25

COD = A very warm and welcoming Cave of Depression :( I have been it all month I think.

winkle2 · 17/08/2012 16:54

I just had a long old cry to hubby on the phone about it all.

We have agreed to not talk about it tonight and then I've got a hen do this weekend and he's got his night out. he said he just needs a release and time away so I won't begrudge him his night out.

He said something similar to you red. He said it just hurts all the time and seeing other people get pregnant is like a kick in the guts.

kittykatsforever · 17/08/2012 17:11

I'm sorry but your comment about not being pregnant and fat did make me laugh winkle I know what you mean, I had half a stone of extra weight from dd but thought well what's the point is like to say I'm on a diet but given my last month I've just had a McDonald's and don't give a shit, I'm depressed anyway, I may aswell be fat too!!!
Plus I still have of symptoms, from what I've read most people loose them when they mc however I still have sore boobs, headache tiredness to the extreme etc
I'm not under any illusions my levels have droped from over 800 to 500 odd but is it the hcg still causing it?? Kick??

wishfulthinking1 · 17/08/2012 17:39

Oh girls! I'm just so sorry you're having such a shitty time!

winkle - I didn't realise dh had his results back- what does that 1% mean? How does he feel about it? I agree that talking about it all the time can be exhausting, but at the same time it's also exhausting haven't something on your mind and not being able to talk about it.

I really am so sorry you're having such a tough time on this thread. Take some time in the cod, drink wine, eat lovely cheese and look after yourselves.

I'm all packed and off on honeymoon in the early hours, so I shan't be around for a while, hope to see some positive news when I'm back,
X

NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 17:49

Have a lovely honeymoon, wishful :-)

I'm going for wine, pizza and cheesecake tonight. At least two days' calories, I reckon. And I'm meeting a friend for beer in Liverpool tomorrow too. No pregnancy = getting pissed this weekend. Twice. :-/

Lolcbcb · 17/08/2012 18:30

Nic I don't blame you. Ive got a birthday do tonight and don't know if I can drink or not. Almost wish af was here already if it's coming anyway.
Wish have a wonderful honeymoon. Where u off to?
Winkle here's a big e-hug )--o-(

fatasbutter · 17/08/2012 18:43

Happy honeymoon wishful!

fatasbutter · 17/08/2012 18:46

Am about a week before AF due and already started getting the usual back pains etc - I knew it was a long shot this month but it's so depressing getting a hint so early that AF will strike, without actual AF yet! I am always hopeful for that week, despite knowing its pointless!! Wish my silly brain wouldn't always think positive when it has absolutely no reason at all to do so, and I will end up being disappointed! Angry

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 17/08/2012 18:47

Have a great holiday wishful

I went to GPs today (not my usual one but a locum). He really pissed me off at first but was ok in the end. He has booked me in for blood tests, which I was expecting and a ultrasound which was a bit of a surprise. Also he recommended I get checked out for STDs, which I will get checked but have been with dh for 13 years so if there is a problem there I will kill him.

OP posts:
winkle2 · 17/08/2012 18:50

Have a lovely honeymoon wishful. Hubby's results were fine apart from morphology which was 1% but docs said that shouldn't affect us conceiving. That means 1% of his sperm is the right shape, etc. normal is 4% so he's just below. Hub is relieved that docs said it shouldn't affect fertility. I get my results back next week we're going to go to docs together and talk to him in detail, see if there's anything more we could be doing. I really want the doctor to tell hubby to stop drinking! Maybe he'll listen then!

Have a nice time Nic this weekend

Lol - thanks for hugs, I need it

Kittenkatzen · 17/08/2012 19:17

Happy honeymoon wishful, have a lovely time!

kittykatsforever · 17/08/2012 19:42

Happy honeymoon wishful, you'll have an amazing time!!
Red was it you who loved blueberrys?

winkle2 · 17/08/2012 20:08
