I've a 10month DS and am now 6 months pregnant. The doctors have t expressed any concerns about how close my second pregnancy is, even though my first CS had a few added complications which means they are keeping a closer eye on me this time round - but noone has told me my risks are any greater for having the 2nd pregnancy so close. But you could always check with your hospital if you have any concerns?

I have been told by my ob gyn to wait minimum of one year after section before conceiving if I want to deliver by elcs next time or 2 years minimum if I want to try for vbac.
Reasons are to ensure the scar internally has had enough time to heal properly otherwise if placenta attaches to it it can cause problems( placenta praevia???) and increases the risk of uterine rupture.

i guess they reccommend a year as the ideal time,

i would like to have them closeish together as i would need to give up work till they where 4/5 so closer the better for nursery/school/work

im late 30s so not getter any younger,

it took over a year to concieve last time so im keen to be 'less careful' iykwim but also aware it may happen sooner
