DulcetMoans · 11/08/2012 21:38

Time to move over ladies. Would love to start this thread by announcing my BFP but unfortunately I can't because we all talk too much to get to test date!

All going for gold medals in baby-making and bound to get there soon, aren't we???

Hi ladies bad news im afraid... AF arrived in all her glory! Means the last cycle was only 31 days so getting shorter again! Last one was 33! Ff had me at 8dpo but checking back sure I ovd on 18th which makes yesterday 13dpo which is bang on! Think my temping messed up Ff detecting ov - as I was away on a girlie weekend around ov and couldn't temp/ DTD so that's why was feeling pretty negative about the whole cycle!

Anyway....onwards and upwards to cycle 3, third time lucky maybe Grin planning lots more DTD, earlier in cycle too as maybe ov will be earlier with shorter cycles may even get to test this month:-) Feeling quite glad that AF hasn't kept me hanging on! Now get to wait out around here for your news! We can have a virtual party to celebrate the first BFP!!! Xx

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 12:50

Ah, buggeration, lets. But, as you say, at least you weren't kept waiting. :-)

Fx for cycle 3 for you.

I've been interested to read the other thread about post-Depo conception rates, and it's apparently normal to not conceive for 10 - 15 months after the last injection. So my 'failure' (for want of a better word) to conceive appears to be totally normal in the circumstances. My last injection must have been the end of November last year and my last pill the end of May this year.

Wish I was more patient, ha ha!

Maclairey · 02/09/2012 13:42

Afternoon all, just wanted to say that i am very excited by all the smiley faces going on! Will be keeping a weather eye on you lot in two weeks time. It's about time you guys had a BFP or two!!

I am 12 weeks today, heard bubbas heartbeat again this morning which is amazing and so reassuring. Scan is on the 11th!

The downside is, I am very fat and none of my clothes fit :( Not sure the takeaways and crisps I have been eating are helping though if I am honest!!

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 13:48

Hi Maclairey!

Your scan seems late...is that normal where you live? Do you feel better now you're at 12 weeks?

The food intake may not help, ha ha. You can lose it after though :-)

The smiley face gave me a bit of a buzz this morning. I'd thought I was broken :-/

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 02/09/2012 15:58

Hi Let's - that's crap!! Fx for cycle 3!!
Maclairey
Congratulations!! hope ur scan goes well. Dont worry about getting bigger - you're meant to!! Just get maternity jeans or leggings - stretchy!!!
Nicki - yeah for smiley face!!!

I'm having a bit if a down day 2day, feeling very tearful but really not sure why!! Anyone else have hormone crazy days??!!

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 16:07

Poor Raspberries! Yeah, last cycle I was hugely emotional, not so much this time. Sadly, our hormones do seem to lead to huge mood variations :-(

We will see how my 2WW goes though...it seems to have taken forever to get to this cycle, weirdly, when time generally seems to go so fast!

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 16:45

Peardrop...I have to admit to forgetting to look this morning, but I've rummaged through the bathroom bin and chosen the stick which must be from today and taken a photo for you. It's visible in my profile.

On a cheapie, that would be a negative!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 02/09/2012 17:02

Wow lots of shagging activity going on today!
Shame about af let's but nothing is as cruel as limbo land so at least cd1 cane with no drama!
I'm on cd 12 today but have long cycle so prob early. DTD in the morning too just in case. Ff says I'm likely to ov next sun only. So next encounter will be on DH birthday Thursday.
Feeling knackered after wedding. Bride had breast cancer so had a wig on. Broke my heart but the whole thing was beautiful.

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 17:13

That's so sad...but I'm glad it was a beautiful day, nonetheless.

It's the weekend, Lol, always shagging action to be found. I'm wondering whether I should tempt Bri into another go tonight. I'll pretend I need it to aid sleep, as I always sleep poorly on Sundays!

Maclairey · 02/09/2012 17:38

Hey Nic, I know my scan is late isn't it but still falls within the time period for the screening tests but I don't know if it's normal or not. On the upside I should get a really clear picture of bubba at 13+2.

Not surprised you are excited about your smiley, I was exactly the same and was pretty sure I was broken. Me thinks this may be your month and you and your hubby 2 be will be sharing a little secret on your wedding day!!

Thanks Raspberry!! Just eating what I want at the moment to keep the nausea at bay. Hopefully when that subsides I can start being good again! Also want to start my pregnancy exercise DVD once I have had the all clear from my scan.

Seems as though Newbie Pear has gone AWOL today!

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 17:47

Maybe she's managed to lure her DH into DTD!

And I hope you're right, Maclairey...would be lovely to have our little secret in 6 weeks' time. :-)

And that is true re your scan. But I bet you're both glad you paid for the early one now after your DH's reluctance.

peardrop2 · 02/09/2012 18:12

Gardening really is the best thing to stop me thinking about TTC! Managed a whole afternoon this time. Mclairey congratulations Hun. Can't pretend I'm not slightly Envy that you're going for your 13+ week scan the day I'm going to my stupid internal scan but really pleased things are going well for you as we don't want you back as a perm member Wink

Nicola bless you for remembering! That's weird that both lines are not as dark as each other. The line on the left is quite faint, am I seeing it right?

I will try and jump on DH tonight. I'm not hopeful as he's very tired again :-:-/

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 18:19

I couldn't get a perfect picture. It's about half as dark as the other line, so a negative on a cheapie.

At least you have gardening, though not ideal. And I'd be feeling the same as you too.

How do I persuade Bri to go again tonight? Doubt we've done it 3 times in a day since we got together 4 years ago!!

purplefairies · 02/09/2012 18:20

Looks like quite a few of us are at similar times in our cycle. I'm on CD15 now. The weird thing is that one of my OV symptoms (I think - not using kits yet) is....er....adult dreams Blush and I started getting them on CD8, as well as lots of EWCM and bloating (nothing new there then). I know I'm probably just being optimistic, but really hope I OVd early this month as DH is now off on business so this morning was my last chance for this cycle.

I've also had some very slightly pale brown-tinged CM (sorry, I know this is TMI) yesterday and today (after DTD each time). At first I was quite excited and thought "implantation bleed" (hmmm, a bit early for that, but never mind), but now I'm actually quite worried that something is wrong with me :( I've been tempted to Google signs of cervical cancer but must try not to as I've had real problems with health anxiety in the past and the Internet just makes it spiral out of control.

Think TTC is slowly but surely driving me mad.

How nice would it be to get a good few BFPs on this thread in a few weeks' time. Fingers crossed!!

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 18:23

You can get ovulation bleeding too, purple, so don't think cancer! Mine was a bit tinged yesterday too, which didn't surprise me bearing in mind the pain I was in. :-/

Funny how we are all syncing in here!

purplefairies · 02/09/2012 18:26

Oh thanks Nicki...it's reassuring to hear that. OV pains have been worse this month, so maybe that's why. Makes me feel a lot better to read your post :)

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 18:29

Good...glad to help. Xx

peardrop2 · 02/09/2012 19:20

Nicola don't think you can compare cheapies with smiley sticks as I think they must be different? Not 100% sure though. 3 times? Now you're just boasting Grin

lets really glad you're not in limbo land! Horrible place to be!

purple TTC comes with madness Grin

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 19:29

Thing is, they all measure LH, so I'm not sure how they can be different? They just show the results differently. Unless one needs different levels to others? I don't really know!

We haven't got to 3 yet, so can't boast. Not sure how good the sperm will be tonight though :-/

And yes...this way madness lies (Shakespeare?).

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 19:40

Clearblue are 40miu and cheapies more sensitive at 20miu. So I definitely trust the CB ones more :-)

letsdothisthing · 02/09/2012 20:10

Thanks for all your kind words! Am feeling good and drinking some rose wine, sharing some maltesers with DH- he's just been down the shop to buy some ice cream for us and we're going to watch a film now! Nic get what you are saying about Sunday night sleeps (hence the rose haha) have a good night all x

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 20:14

I'm on rose too, lets :-) We just had a roast followed by cheesecake. Lovely stuff.

Have a good evening. X

peardrop2 · 02/09/2012 20:39

Nicola best we think CB is working otherwise we'll drive ourselves mad! Oh and yes of coarse I fed my CBFM with a stick this morning...totally pointless but I need some entertainment in the next 6 working days. And it currently says 'Low' btw Grin

GeordieRachel · 02/09/2012 20:43

Loiter loiter lurk lurk

Ahem, knock knock. Can I step aboard please? I have wine Smile

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 20:44

I drive myself mad anyway! But I do have faith in CB more than cheapies. :-)

I really hope the next week or so goes quickly for you, peardrop.

Still trying to work out how to seduce Bri again, ha ha!

Still haven't used Conceive bloody Plus. Waste of money.
