DulcetMoans · 11/08/2012 21:38

Time to move over ladies. Would love to start this thread by announcing my BFP but unfortunately I can't because we all talk too much to get to test date!

All going for gold medals in baby-making and bound to get there soon, aren't we???

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 15:12

Newbie, it's 9 weeks, 4 days, I think.

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 15:13

TTC, Dulcet! Wedding can wait :-)

Lolcbcb · 16/08/2012 18:06

Dulcet sorry af came. At least it's one less missing. When is your wedding?
Think it's a great idea to take mind off ttc till next month! Very exciting Smile

PuppyMummy · 16/08/2012 18:27

dulcet if it helps every month when af comes I think 'we should have just set a date I could be planning!' but ttc wins hands down for me!

also everyone has now got bored of asking when were going to start planning and me just saying we can't be bothered!!

DulcetMoans · 16/08/2012 19:55

Well the poll here seems to be steering towards TTC! Haha. Should probably talk it through with DP though.

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 16/08/2012 19:57

Oh, lol, I don't have a wedding date set but we are talking about July next year. This would have been an April baby so three months to recover. Think anything sooner will be too much. So need to decide...

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 19:59

Surely our opinion is worth more, ha ha?! ;-p

Difficult to decide. I wanted to be married before the baby was born, but that's just me. Half traditional. :-)

Lolcbcb · 16/08/2012 20:13

I wanted to be married before baby just to enjoy married life for a bit. Don't regret leaving it this late. As long as it happens immediately would be nice

LoveinNY · 16/08/2012 21:54

Hi ladies. Back at work and struggling to keep up with the chat! Lol. Dulcet re ttc and the wedding, you could do quite a lot of planning whilst ttc and just make adjustments when you get the long awaited BFP. Takes such a long time to plan. I wanted to be married first but not for any particular reason and i wouldn't have cared too much if it happened the other way. Nicola, bring out the big guns to test, a cb digi is def in order. V exciting. Smile
Who is still missing their AF then? And have I missed any BFP? I'm on the countdown to ov and going to go for another session of acupuncture before it. Fc my fertility level is on the up! Xx

Newbie2 · 16/08/2012 22:17

I am still bloody missing AF and I'm not happy about it! Can you tell Lol :)

Dear AF,

No need to surprise me, just hurry up and get here!!

Regards,

Not so Newbie x

Lolcbcb · 16/08/2012 23:02

This thread is suffering from serious stressSad.
I'm feeling shite. Just had a row with my best friend as she thinks I've not been myself since mc. She wanted to go out on the piss sat and I'm not in the mood. She's a lovely mate but hates kids and has no wish to have a baby so as hard as she tries to, she can't understand what I'm going through.
I'm now feeling like a shit friend to her too.
Hate all this. Life is so much simpler when u don't want kids.

NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 06:31

Faint line yesterday...AF today :-(

I knew what was happening at about 5 this morning when I woke briefly.

I'm also now heading for having AF on my wedding day. Hmmm.

NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 06:32

Sorry Newbie and Lol. :-(

Newbie2 · 17/08/2012 06:51

Oh Nicola :( I'm really surprised. I really thought this was is it for you. Are you ok? Don't worry about AF on your wedding day because you still have time for a BFP. I know it really sucks but now you know you're on CD1 that will help you work out the rest of the month. It really is awful not having AF arrive but I know you also really really wanted a BFP. Sorry :(

NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 06:56

I was thereabouts convinced too :-(

Think I'm OK. And I have my CB toys this month too.

Something to discuss with my Dr in 4 weeks' time, I suppose.

Next. :-/

Newbie2 · 17/08/2012 06:58

Lol I'm sorry for you too. It is so difficult when you get older because all your friends start doing different things in life at different times. Some stay single, some marry, some have lots of babies, some go travelling, some have to live with their parents while others buy houses. All I can say is that everyone has a selfish friend and sometimes it best to let them do what they need to do, maybe give yourself some breathing space? Does she know about the mc?

Lolcbcb · 17/08/2012 07:16

Oh nic I'm so sorry hun. I was convinced it was a def yes. Hugs x
Newbie thanks for your kind words. Yeah we've been friends for over 20 years. She does know about mc but just can't relate to it. We've a week holiday booked in a months time so will have to sort it out before then. I'm just really upset.
Anyone has good news to cheer us up?

NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 07:23

Thanks, Lol. This is all quite crap, isn't it?

Doubt this thread will attract new people today, we aren't exactly happy smiley. Xx

LisaC2611 · 17/08/2012 07:33

Sorry for you both nicola and lol.

Af has now left the building so I can get on with a sept bfp, just hope hubby is up for it! Grin

letsdothisthing · 17/08/2012 07:37

Morning all, crap weather here to match the bad news all around!

So sorry it was AF to arrive before BFP Nicola! You were having all the right 'symptoms' no wonder you'd convinced yourself you were pg! Newbies right though, another few shots for the BFP before your big day! At least it's Friday!!

Newbie hopefully your AF won't be too far behind!!

Sorry to hear you're feeling down Lol, sometimes friends don't get it - but must admit I don't talk to rl friends about this, only me and DH know we're trying! I just rather keep the pressure off and not have everyone wondering how long it'll take us because that would stress me out even more!

So I'm coming up to ov next Tuesday which by then will be CD20!! This is the best part of the cycle when at least there is still some hope!! Hope you all have a good day!

NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 07:39

I don't even talk to H2B about it, as I don't want to pressure him. I talk to a couple of friends and you lot.

Going to have more sex this month, I think. He will have to not watch late films so much!

Onwards and upwards.

Newbie2 · 17/08/2012 07:40

Yeah this would be the best time for my body to sync with Nicola fx!!! (I mean that in the nicest way possible) xx

DulcetMoans · 17/08/2012 07:55

So sorry nicola. At least you know now though. You can start again next week!

Thanks for all your wedding vs TTC advice. I don't have an answer yet. Going to visit a venue later today so will see how I feel after that. We discussed our options so we know we have some, just no decision!

We need some good news around here!!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 17/08/2012 09:24

Good luck with your tests, Newbie.

I've synced with Dulcet, only fair you should join in!

Lolcbcb · 17/08/2012 09:28

I don't talk to anyone about it in rl. Not even with DH as I think he will get stressed. So all I've got is you lot Smile
Nic if your wedding is 9 weeks away you still have 2 goes? Dont be disheartened, I know it sucks.
Newbie nothing on your front yet?
Someone PLEASE get a bfp to cheer up the thread! Any takers! Anyone poas today?
