DulcetMoans · 11/08/2012 21:38

Time to move over ladies. Would love to start this thread by announcing my BFP but unfortunately I can't because we all talk too much to get to test date!

All going for gold medals in baby-making and bound to get there soon, aren't we???

Nicola I am in ore that you haven't brought a cb digi on your way home...I know I would even if I knew it was money down the drain!!

NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 19:23

Luckily there isn't much shopping opportunity on the way back!

And the price in Boots etc is so much higher than what I paid to Amazon.

Another BFN tonight. :-/

Pumykins · 15/08/2012 19:35

Hello Ladies,
Nicola, I know how you are feeling, this is my 3rd month TTC. Last month i was almost convinced that i would get a BFP. My nipples were all over the place, fatigue, naseau, i had every symptom you can think of but then AF arrived about a week late. Fx for you for a BFP but our bodies play the best tricks on us when we badly want or expect something.
Good luck to us all.

NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 19:42

Hi Pumykins :-)

I'm trying not to be too convinced by what my body is doing. I'll do the CB digi at the weekend and whatever that says I'll go along with!

DulcetMoans · 15/08/2012 21:34

Might be testing together again then nicola, test weekend!!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 21:43

I seem to be trying to sync with everybody at one time or another!

DulcetMoans · 15/08/2012 22:02

Well all the while you have BFN and no AF I guess we will all sync with you! Saw you said you are going to take the result of the cb digi over the weekend, hope it's there for Saturday!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 22:06

It was dispatched today, so hope I have it for FMU on Sat, or Sunday at the latest.

Fx it is good news. :-)

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 06:29

BFN................with almost imperceptible second line!

I NEED a proper test.

Any news elsewhere?

Newbie2 · 16/08/2012 07:00

What? You have a second line???

I forgot to test...probably a good thing now lol

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 07:03

I have the faintest of faint lines, yes.

It's definitely there. I may have checked a few times. But SO faint.

More than I've had before though, ha ha.

BUT...I don't believe it as I just don't trust those tests. And it's barely there, so means jack.

Newbie2 · 16/08/2012 07:09

Omg omg!! a line is a line. Have you got a photo?

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 07:13

Ha, no! I considered it, but really didn't have time. :-)

I am not getting my hopes up, especially with so many chemical pregnancies suffered by people on here.

And it was properly faint. More a shadow than a line. Just talking myself out of it now as I'm scared of a) making a knob of myself and b) it turning out to be nothing.

The only test I'll trust is the CB one, I think.

Newbie2 · 16/08/2012 07:34

Did you do more then 1? You must have ovulated late. You DTD later on in the week didn't you, could have caught it then?

Lolcbcb · 16/08/2012 07:40

Morning.
Nic that is a bit promising! But I understand u not wanting to get hopes up. It's a hard business.
Any news from anyone else? Af or bfp?
I've nothing to report apart from this queasiness that won't go. Am convinced my mind I playing tricks on me as no other symptoms. Have a good day all x

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 08:21

No, just one.

We did it Sat, Mon, Sat. So maybe the Mon one caught it?

IF I'm pregnant, that is.

woody17 · 16/08/2012 08:26

lolcbcb I still have this horrible nausea - able to eat now though. No af yet apart from the occasional bit of brown tinged discharge when I wipe (sorry for tmi). And my boobs are hurting on the sides and almost under my arms. And I'm having to go to the toilet more than usual...Stupid symptom spotting.

Hope you're all ok.

Nicola really hope you get a stronger line soon...but this does sound promising!

purplefairies · 16/08/2012 08:28

Nicola, I'm really excited for you now. Definitely sounds promising!!! Looking forward to an update.

I'm nearing the end of my 2ww but no symptoms whatsoever (well I do have nausea but had a bit too much wine last night....oops). I'm sure I'd be noticing something if I were pregnant.

PuppyMummy · 16/08/2012 09:38

fingers crossed nicola
I know what u mean about being cautious and not getting your hopes up.

is the reason I no longer poas until af is at least 3 days late... (but that rule covers u now anyway!) will quietly keep everything crossed for u.

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:23

I'm scared shitless, people :-(

Maclairey · 16/08/2012 10:52

Hi everyone just dropping in to say hello.

Nic, don't be scared. You need to find out one way or the other so you need to use a branded test. I would recommend a first response early response. I got a very definite line at 13dpo. It's likely that you ovulated later than normal because you weren't doing opks. It sounds promising but you need to know for sure one way or the other.

Newbie, honey sounds like you have been through hell and back recently. I am glad that you have some tests lined up. I am keeping everything crossed for you.

Dulcet, sounds like you are remaining fairly sane throughout your 2ww. Not sure how you are managing it to be honest!

Hello to everyone else and bring on the AFs/bfps.

I am following all your journeys and am looking forward to the next BFP.

Just wanted to let you know that I had no symptoms until a few days after I got mine when I started getting the ligament stretching pain.

I am 9+4 today. I have my booking in appointment next tuesday but still no scan date. Still terrified that something has gone wrong since my scan at 8+1. Completely unfounded irrational fear but it's there nonetheless.

Hope you are all having a good day.

Nic - get a FRER!!!

DulcetMoans · 16/08/2012 12:35

Well that is a bit of progress then nicola. Hope your cb stick is there tonight, mega quick delivery but you never know. At least it is forcing you to wait. Don't be scared, nothing you can do now either way.

Good to see you again maclairey, sorry you are still not feelingsure. Hopefully the booking in appointment and a chat with the midwife will make you feel better. I am feeling very calm about it, not sure why. I think getting engaged and talking about weddings has taken some of the pressure away maybe. Plus, i'm not feeling very confident this month so I haven't had to talk myself back down or avoid testing too much. Tested Tuesday, BFN. Will try again tomorrow.

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 13:04

Hi Maclairey

Good to hear from you. I think your fears are very normal, even if you kind of frustrate yourself with them!

I chose not to buy another test. I have some on the way, and it may be best to wait a couple more days. Everyone gets different POAS responses, it seems!

And my wee is too dilute now as well.

The wait goes on. I feel I should shut up about it though!

DulcetMoans · 16/08/2012 14:37

Oh, just had a surprise visit from AF. Two days earlier, still saves a test I guess!

Now I need to have a serious think on the TTC vs Wedding decision. Hmmmm. Not fun!

Newbie2 · 16/08/2012 14:38

Hi Mclairey glad to hear things are going well for you even if you're worried, which I'm sure is totally normal. Sorry what's all this 9+4 business about?

Dulcet I wish I was as calm as you! Hopefully I'll feel better after the blood test tomorrow am.
