Hi all,
I've lurked a little but would like to come our of my shell :-)
My Dp & I are trying since only last month. I expected nout as I hadn't a clue even how long my period was (!) as I never tried (have 1 child lovely surprise). Also I understand that it's not always easy etc. I'm going in aware of all, not a naive beginner, but I am excited!

I'm just asking any advice on OPK online or Cheap enough that are reliable? I've tesco boots & random pharmacies where I live. When would I start the sticks? My period ranges. Anything I can eat etc that may help? I don't mind any advice old wive tales welcome :-) I really havnt a clue (Honestly im not trying to sound naive or assuming it'll be this month etc etc) good luck to everyone/congrats to those with BFP's!!

Sex, sex and more sex! Feed him tomato soup as it makes the sperm more wiggly (scientific fact!) and just keep knocking boots! You can get ovulation kits, but as you've only just started, don't fret. Put it this way, the Drs won't even look at you until you've been trying for over a year, some say 18 months. You may need to track your periods a bit better and don't waste money peeing on a stick until you are fairly sure. Those things aren't cheap!

Good luck!

At this stage I wouldn't bother with opks, just do the deed every two or three days (more often if you feel like it!) and you should be fine.
