What tests do they run after MC #3 ?

Just having my 3rd MC and was wondering what tests are expected after I speak to my doctor and what they do etc.
Any experiences with 4th time lucky?

I'm really sorry for your losses. The tests they are running on me (results expected towards the end of the month) are based around thyroid function, various blood clotting/thrombisis and diabetes. 7 vials of blood in all, so 7 tests along those lines. I'm still trying for dc1 so can't offer advice beyond this, but didn't want you to go unanswered.

Thank you, I didn't really know if it was just blood tests or scans and stuff as well so any advice is helpful.

There are patient information leaflets you can look at on the site, the one miscarriages is quite comprehensive & talks about scans, genetics etc

i was very very lucky with no 4 and 5,
lost no1, 2 and 3 :-(
i think it depends which hospital/doctor you are under ref tests,
i had heparin and asprin and progesterone after no3,
sticky blood they said,
it worked,
