Period arrives on day 16, why? as it is not normally til day 26/27

I am looking for some help

My period normally arrives around day 26/27,
I normally ovulate around day 11 to 14
my luteal phase is 13 days

This month I had my normal short period, but this was followed by EWCM on days 4 and 5 (this is not normal for me)

Today on day 16 my period arrived..... why? Any answers greatly appriciated.

I was thinking maybe it was an implantation bleed until you said that your EWCM was so early, sorry I don't have anything more helpful to tell you.

Thank you, I have been googling (naughty I know) and it would appear that ovulation bleeding can be upto two days and light flow, so I am wondering if that is it, though I have none of my normal ovulation symptoms and it has never happened before. Otherwise I will start thinking it is peri-menopause hitting me early.

I have had exactly the same thing this cycle - normal cycle 32 days, this month AF came on day 22. I am only 32 so hoping it's not peri-menopause! Only one day of the AF was proper 'flow', but either side of that 3-4 days of variable spotting. Weird. I am wondering if I just didn't ovulate this month.

Perhaps there is something in the air then! I have had a normal period, just 10 days early. I don't think I could have ovulated this month definitely. I just hope that next month is back to normal.

I got peak on my CBFM day 22, spotting started CD 23 & AF on CD 26

Last month I got to CD31 but has been as short as day 24. I get 3/4 days of spotting first and 1/2 after so feeling like I don't have many days off AF or spotting at the moment!!

Off to the doctors with DH next week...

Me too! My cycles are totally up the spout since having a m/c at 11.5 weeks in early June.

On my last cycle; opk positive on cd8, then started spotting cd 11, which turned into bleeding for a fee days. Then got AF at 21 days.

Started OPK again this month on cd 6 - and it was positive!! No bleeding since then. But very odd.

Will be interested to hear what your Dr has to say....
