So every day, or every other day?

I know you're supposed to dtd every other day but OV is coming up & I feel like I should be dtd every day to try and 'make sure'!
DH is (unsurprisingly) willing to have a busy week in the bedroom - so is it advisable, or not?

If you can manage it, do it. If not, every other day is fine.

Sperm can live 2 or 3 days inside the female reproductive tract, and some may live as long as 5 days, so every other day really is enough.

The book 'taking charge of your fertility' says that assuming your DP has normal fertility then you should dtd every day in the few days leading up to ov until the day after. Good luck!

Ooh ok then. Ready.....go!

Having sex every day in the lead up to ovulation only works if you know when you ovulate. If you have an irregular cycle, like me, then it can be hard to judge!

Maybe we should go for a 30-day marathon just to make sure Grin
