EWCM on day 6?

I had a laparoscopy & hysteroscopy on 2nd July and my 1st proper period after the op started last Sunday (OUCH is all I can say about that). I say proper period as opposed to post-op bleeding. I have endometriosis which was lasered off but otherwise the gynae says I am in good shape for conceiving but to get a move on, no hanging about.
Today which is CD6 and I have masses of EWCM. I don't know if this is hormones going a bit mad after the op, a kind of clear-out after the op, or early ovulation and I should get going on DTD? AF is still hanging around a bit i.e. bits of spotting so I'd rather wait before getting down to business...sorry if this is way TMI.
What are your opinions ladies?

I would just in case, do you monitor temps etc? My ovulation seems to be a week earlier than it should be following prediction charts, I had loads of EWcm on day 11 of my 32 day cycle and did last month too. Really need to log temps etc next month.
