Has anyone had a proper period whilst ttc & then been pregnant?

hi I had a bleed which lasted a few days, thought it was my period just a bit shorter than usual but on schedule (due to having only just come off the pill). I then missed the next one and turned out I was 4 weeks further pregnant than I thought.

Thanks emsmamam, had a period at the time I was due but very short & not like a normal period. I'm on my 5th cycle of ttc so trying not to test unless I'm sure as was getting obsessed but feel a bit pregnant. Mb should just test!

With my first child, I bled so much at the normal time, if I hadn't been testing I'd have been sure it was a period. Not a really heavy period, but it was passably a period, with clots and everything. Four weeks later more bleeding again. I had a similar thing happen with my second as well - with her I bled every month until 12 weeks in fact.

Thanks MOP, gave in & took a test this morning but bfn, oh well need to keep trying & fingers crossed this cycle!
