Hi I'm just wondering how long after people have started bleeding do you normal get a negative hpt?

Hi, I don't know whether to write anything as sometimes it feels the minute I put something positive something negative happens..... Got a call from the hospital last night and my levels have doubled, they were only 20 on Thursday and I felt that was way to low hence why I had no hope but now they are 50, I don't know what to think, there has been so much blood and can't believe anything could have survived or not been damaged somehow plus I'm scared to have any kind of hope, got to have repeats done Wednesday, I'm still bleeding though and yesterday I was using lemsip and cold saw medicine which I've now read you shouldn't so feel I've been really stupid, my body does seem to have lost control of its amune system as I'm really ill

Hi I was wondering how you have been doing, I don't know what to think. The doubling is good but the bleeding is bad Confused.

Really sorry you are still in limbo and Wednesday is ages away or feels like it.

tiddleypompom · 05/08/2012 08:35

Look after yourself kitty - lots of rest, fluids, warm baths etc. Thinking of you x

kittykatsforever · 05/08/2012 08:57

Yes Wednesday feels like forever...
Don't know what to think at all, I know I should be happy but I guess I just fear is it just prolonging it for another few weeks and I have to go through it all again Sad

redstrawberry · 05/08/2012 09:30

Ohh that's so long to go through in limbo kitty. I think the kindest way to go through this log wait till Wednesday would be to tell yourself you had a cp. it's easier if you accept it and then if it turns out to be good news you can celebrate. But I'd you grow that hope and the results turn out otherwise it will be difficult Sad

I found the blow easier when I accepted it was AF bleed. SadSad shit this shouldn't have happened to you or any of us. I'm so sorry xx

Lolcbcb · 05/08/2012 09:40

Oh kitty I can't believe you are still in limbo!!! It will be worth it if it turns out ok but still a nightmare!
Why do u need to wait till wed? Nothing can be done earlier? Bloods supposed to double every 48 hours aren't they??
Good luck and keep us posted x

kittykatsforever · 05/08/2012 11:31

Yes there surposed to double ever 48 hrs, I guess no one expected mine too!
I don't know why they've said Wednesday unless they think well it has to double then double again and they will have a better chance of knowing its definatly doing the right thing?!
I'm totally baffled as to what's going on or even when I ovd etc, I had accepted it totally now well I guess I just have to try and put it put if my mind as best I can clearly I wasn't up half the night wondering what was happening!

Lolcbcb · 05/08/2012 14:18

Thanks everyone, been and had test and they've doubled and doubled again so it seems like unbelievable I'm still pregnant?! I don't quite believe it and until I see it's ok think I'll be unable to, they've booked me in for a scan in 3 weeks, stoped bleeding 2 days ago but it was a full on af, I've no idea what went on but at the moment wmeven though in afraid to try and be positive I'll venture a little Grin

yay! I am so pleased for you GrinGrinGrin
I think you should celebrate ....a little!

An early pg bleed is common. I hope its a very bean for you X

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 08/08/2012 15:18

Oh Kitty that sounds like good news. I can understand why you don't want to get excited till you see it on a scan. But it really does sound like there are grounds for optimism.

Your 3 week wait for a scan is going to put the 2ww into perspective.

tiddleypompom · 08/08/2012 17:59

Hooray! Kitty that's lovely happy news, I am so chuffed to bits for you. What a rocky start, poor you, I hope the rest sails by like a dream :)
