How long after EWCM does egg pop???

Sorry TMI ahead.....my dh is literally just after walking out the door for a nightshift and I have just had EWCM I am devastated as I have PCOS so this may be the only time this year that I ovulate!! So do you know how long I have until egg pops or is it gone already! The EWCM just startednow so if I nab hubby in the morning do you think I may still have a chance??? Tanx

I think it can mean it happens now or anytime in the next 3 days, the egg can still be fertilised 12 hours after so I think if you nab him in the morning you will be ok

Yeah agree with kitty, think you ov on the.ast day you get EWCM, so if this is only the first day you got it you have still got time :) fx and good luck :) x

Unfortunately, the answer is "it depends".

Don't panic! I have an irregular cycle but not pcos. I ovulate the day after ewcm stops (according to temping). Usually minimal ewcm for 2 days, then masses for a day, then nothing the next day (ovulation), then temp rise next day. I'm a bit older (almost 37) so I have less ewcm days than younger women. So I think you have time but you could always temp from tomorrow morning and see what happens.

The egg will survive for a few hours anyway so go for it when he gets in!!

I wanted to ask this last weekend but was too so thank you for asking the question. We dtd on same day as cm. nearly 2 weeks ago now and been feeling v tired and iffy this week. Wondering worrying if something may have occurred?

Thank you so much girls that has put my mind at rest!! I'm literally counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until I lay my hands on my dh!! hopefully there will be an egg.....you never know with PCOS that is why I am so psycho about it!

thank you (i think). but im sure its too soon to be getting any symptoms isnt it? i am sure that i will be excited if i did get a BFP but i will also be completely terrified .
