Cervical polyps - anyone want to talk to be about them?

Had a check up today and dr thinks the small lump I have could be a cervical polyp. I'm a bit confused as to what these are and how they could if they would affect TTC. Anyone want to tell me a bit more?

I've have had several of these. They are easily removed - don't think I even had any pain relief. And, it only takes a couple of minutes. It's about as uncomfortable as having a smear test. They are then checked for cancerous cells but this is very, very, very rare.

They are kind of like internal skin tags.

They can affect TTC as they can cause bleeding. I kept having bleeding during pregnancy and they found one which they believe was the cause.

If you have one, get it removed. But, they do sometimes disappear on their own. The one I had during pregnancy had gone by the time I had a smear test 6 months after DD was born.
