Vitamins whilst ttc after miscarriage

Hi I am quite new to this & have found much comfort in this website since my 1st mc last Wednesday, I feel so sad but have at least stopped bleeding now, scan tomorrow morning to check things & then I will somehow try to move on. My question is how much of the Vitamins D & B6 should you take when ttc as I have heard that they can really help but it's really confusing as to how much to take. I hope someone can help, I'd like to ttc as soon as possible.

Hi Chlosha, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had my 1st mc almost 2 weeks ago. It sucks doesn't it?

Anyway, I have just carried on taking Sanatogen pre-natal vitamins. My midwife said they had the right amounts of those vitamins in, plus folic acid. I think pregnacare does a pre-conception vitamin though.

Thanks posypoo, so very sorry to hear about your miscarriage, it's awful:(. It's so very confusing isn't it because you don't know what to take or how much to take for the best. And when something like this happens you want to do anything to help. I hope you are ok, are you going to ttc soon? Xx

Thanks Chlosha. Yes you just want to do the right thing don't you, and it doesn't help not knowing why it has happened (apart from 'bad luck'!). I am def going to ttc again soon, currently debating whether to try again immediately or wait til next cycle. I am on the 'TTC after recent miscarriage' thread, where there some other recent mcers wondering the same thing. Come and join us if you fancy!

Hi all
I am starting on pregnacare conception as there is a good offer on it on amazon! But think sanatogen is pretty much the same and its supposed to have all the vitamins you need as well as folic acid.
I am ready to start again ASAP. Friday will be 2 weeks I mc'd.

Chlosha · 31/07/2012 20:12

Thanks & hi again lolcbcb, how are you doing now? It'll be a week for me tomorrow:(. I have been taking centrum pregnancy care plus omega 3, nearly run out though so will have a look on amazon. Scan tomorrow & I am going to ask about ttc again. The one thing I did have the day before I started to bleed was aching joints & swollen wrists & feet, did anyone else get this? It went more or less as soon as I started to bleed? Glad you are ready to start trying again lolcbcb will be keeping an eye out for that BFP:)! Xx
