Hello, just wanted to talk to someone really as I hadn't told anybody I thought I was pregnant and then my period started yesterday and I was gutted. Haven't been trying long but I was over a week late so thought I could be :-( who knew it could be so disappointing.

Not to get your hopes up but it may be implantation bleeding, try doing a test in a couple days just to check. If it really is a bfn then (and I know this is near impossible) but try to enjoy being not pg while you can - drink cocktails, eat yummy cheeses etc before you know it you'll get your bfp :-)

Implantation is LITERALLY one or two drops (a "streak") of brown blood.

You could have OVed a bit later than you though. All the stress around the time of OV means it seems fairly normal that that we kick it out

Thanks guys, it's so weird that after years of 'thank goodness I've got my period' it's now 'oh bugger here it's is'.
