Just wondering what others thought about the most effective way of seeing whether certain signs mean this is the time of bding? This month, I have bd every other day from day 10 to day 16 of a 30 day cycle (therefore ov around day 17 for me). On day 12, had some ewcm and bd, on day 14, bd and then had strong shooting pains on my right side later that night plus my temp had dropped that morning, all through week have had butterfly type feelings in my stomach. Day 17, had twinges on my left side and then throbbing boobs for the next couple of days. However, I have used an OPK but no surges all week (but did use first thing in morning, like Clearblue says you can, but others suggest this is not best time) and temps have been a little erratic, but again, I don't do this properly, I get up to go to the bathroom to do it. So basically, should I pay much attention to the OPK and temps, or stick with my actual body feelings? I am sure that I am not the only one that gets a bit confused by all these symptoms and perhaps reads more into it all than I should!!! Oh well, the 2ww to go.

hello bluestar, i was wondering how things are going for you. i too had no surges using OPKs (insert obvious joke about being pissed off here...), & bd every other day from 10-16. am a bit discouraged now, with no surges, maybe i should start taking my temperature. however, i have been in an evil mood for the past few days, & bursting into tears for no reason, so maybe i am pg.... sorry, this is all about me, no help to you. i think listening to your body is really important, just wish mine gave clearer messages! good luck.
