When Should I POAS?

Any advice?

Last AF started on 6th July, and according to various online calculators OD would have been around 22/23rd July.

I'm not sure of my cycles as I've only had one AF since I came off the pill in June and that was 32 days from the start of the withdrawal bleed.

Before the pill (about 12 years ago!) My cycles were I think between 28 and 30 days so based calculators on both 30 and 32 days

So when is P day?

Its difficult to say as this is only your second cycle off the pill but assuming you did actually ovulate around 22/23 then I'd wait for atleast two after that!

So around 5th/6th August then. It's all just a guessing game isn't it?

it is a bit of a guessing came, but if you're not successful this month you'll start getting to know your body again and be able to work out when you're ovulating and how long your luteal phase is!

I'm not even sure what a luteal phase actually is!

luteal phase is the second half of your cycle, it starts after you've ovulated.

Ok dokey. Always equal halves or not?

No not equal halves, but your luteal phase (LP) will vary less than before your ovulation, I usually ovualted around day 24 and have a 12/13 LP, but have been know to ovulate earlier of later, but already have a similar LP!

Well I didn't know that! DD was a 'not preventing but not trying' job this is all new.
