BFP! I cannot believe it. 19 months of TTC...bit on the nervous side though. Hold my hand and tell me it will be OK?

I'm sure some of you will recognise me from other TTC threads, have been a bit quiet recently though, had been feeling pretty pissed off with the whole thing and was almost convinced something was wrong with us and it was never going to happen naturally.

So, coil came out in December 2010. Miscarriage in January 2011 and now another BFP in July 2012. So far there's been no bleeding, very little cramping (but majorly sore boobs). I'm 12-13 DPO, CB digi says 2-3 weeks PG. I feel fine.

Is it worth seeing the GP to ask for a referral to the EPU to check levels are rising and get an early scan booked in? I'm not convinced my crappy GP will refer me anyway. Perhaps I should use this as the prompt to get the forms to the new GP and get seen there.

Pleeeeeeeese let this one stick!

Congratulations!!

I know that I would want an early scan - waiting until 12 weeks would be impossible. I think different areas vary on who is eligible for early checks without any symptoms. TBH I'd be booking one privately.

Congratulations!! Have been ttc for 18 months now, this thread really made me smile and believe that it will happen!

Hope everything goes ok :) so happy for you! X

RightUpMyRue · 25/07/2012 19:42

Thank you both Smile

I'll try with the GP first, but a private may well be an option.

BIG Fat congrats to you rue. Ive already warned everyone that when I do FINALLY get up diffed im going to be a nigtmare after the last MMC.

If you need assurance go and get it. It may be worth telling them that you have had a little bleed or pain, I know its not completely honest BUT needs must.

Good luck.
