Hi munchin, no not done opk, leaving it this month but did dtd last night too, maybe we're synchronising lol !!
defo don't think af is on the way as it would be too early so maybe it is ov

Morning lovely ladies.
I've felt a bit of cramping on the left side today don't know if it could be ov related. On cd16 today and yesterday had a big blob of some very stretchy stuff!
So just had my first conceived plus enhanced shag and have to say it felt nice!
Now lying in bed...
Ps- cant believe I'm telling the world I have just had sex

So kitty we should be on the 2ww then in a couple of days.

Lolcbcb sure that's what mn is for sharing stuff that you wouldn't discuss in rl. Sounds like your definitely ov too. Another fellow 2ww!!!

Lol glad to hear that Conceive Plus was a 'success' uhhum! I'm going to order some for when my WRF cycle is over (trying PMA)! Still no AF this end although I got hysterically excited this morning and punched the air when I thought I had a tiny bit of discolouration when I wiped but nothing has come over it yet...

Oh almond what a drag!! You could have had some of my earlier non stop af! All jokes aside I know what it's like when your getting in the 40s days it seems like an eternity!
Lol and munchin, yeay for us all entering the 2ww together, I have another shag planned possibly 2 aswell but that's it I reacon, done 4 eod so 2 more makes a 2 wk period covered so unless I get a definate different ov sign I'll be calling it a month and the 2 ww!! can't wait for ss

Yes I def recommend conceive plus. I used it on the sly and DH was surprised at how ready I was!
Still neg opk but having pain on left side which I'm hoping is linked to ov. So must continue shag..

Hey everyone, ok so I'm just starting the 2ww, well what I think is the 2ww as it's the first ovulation after mc. I was told I wouldn't get a period as such so should I just wait the 2 weeks and then POAS or would that show a positive anyway as it's only been a few weeks since mc?

Panda were you not asked to take a test a few weeks later to make sure it was neg? You should still get a period 4-6 wks after mc

No I wasn't told to do that, do you think I should do one just now? My body quickly realised it wasn't pregnant iykwim, and all my pregnancy symptoms stopped straight away

Mine took 2 wks to go neg even the most recent that was when I was only 5 or so weeks pregnant, its up to you but I liked to know I'd definatly had a neg before testing or you wouldn't know for sure it was a new pregnancy or left over hormones! Plus you won't ov again until levels have returned to a certain point which is usually at the point you'd get a negative test, when was your mc?

The 15th August, so 3 weeks and 2 days ago. Would there still be much point as it's been over 3 weeks?

You could, it should definatly be neg by now but it doesn't really matter if the hospital were happy to discharge you anyway and your happy with where you are in the cycle etc

Mine was confirmed the 16th aug although started before then and I only did a test a few days ago as had a very faint line a week before so you were around the same time as me

I had very light bleeding on the Sunday night which got worse on the Monday, had a scan on Tuesday and they found a heartbeat and everything was fine, then passed the sac on Wednesday and it was confirmed on the Thursday with a scan. The nurse checked and said there was nothing left so no more intervention was needed and we could start ttc right away.

We must have both had it all confirmed on the same day then Kitty

I just read through my thread I started when the light bleeding started www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/a1539225-Bleeding-at-8-weeks, it was sad reading through it where I had the scan and thought everything was ok, then had to come back and update everyone that I'd mc.

Oh panda that's auful to get your hopes up etc, I actually had the worst bleeding on the Monday night but as I'd allready got an appointment for the scan on the thur left it till then, I had been bleeding all the way through but up until the Sunday my levels were still doubling as they were surposed to so it went wrong after that , do you think you've ovd yet?

I'm not sure tbh, I felt really... ahem... up for it last weekend which tied into dates if I counted bleeding as a period iyswim, so I'll just need to wait and see.

Oh panda that was awful for you. Having a fright with bleeding, scan reassured you and then lost baby next day. I know a friend mc naturally and exactly four weeks later got her AF. So it is possible for your cycle to regulate straight away.

It just shows you that a scan is really a snapshot of that particular moment in time and gives you no guarantees.

Hiya kitty & lol hope your dtd plans are on track lol. We dtd again last night but we were both so tired and it was a bit of a chore. We should really again tonight if following smep but geez I don't know !!!!!!

Hi Panda, I also had a scan where the baby looked ok, and they said the bleeding was prob normal. The midwife was so positive, that I completely ignored my bleeding getting worse and all of a sudden was looking at the sac. For me it seemed much more of a shock than if I'd had the scan I thought I was going to have, when I initially went in thinking it was over and it wasn't, if that makes sense - sorry, fuzzy head atm.

Hope you're OK now. It sounds positive that you're feeling up for it, it definitely sounds like your body is ready to move on.

Panda my MC was similar in that I had the best part of 3 weeks of 'it might be ok/it might not' as I had a clot next to the sac. I had 2 'gushes', not continuous bleeding which have me false hope but then my HCG dropped and it was all over quite quickly after that. Crapness!

Clatty sorry your here . they call this the WTF (what the f**k) cycle which I have learnt is v difficult to work out. My cycles are normally v regular but I'm on CD41 post mc and still not had AF! Have you had a ng pg test to confirm all the HCG is out of your system? Norm ovulation occurs after that (but in my case who knows). You could ovulate at any time so my advice would be to stick with the OPKs but be prepared and get some extras as I did 20 and ran out!

Clatty, as almond says its difficult to work out a wtf cycle but if you've had a +ve test then yes very likely you've ovd, some people do as soon as 2 weeks after, it's only difficult to work out in the sense that the mc is not a period therefore counting cd1 is only a guess and it also depends how much hcg you have in your body and how quickly it goes, you will not ov til levels drop below 10, I think I am oving now/soon cd25! Last time after mc if was cd23 or slightly before and I was further along!

clatty it sounds like you are just about to ovulate. Hope you are in the mood to dtd.
