TTC #2 AFTER 1 SHOT OF DEPO.. HELP!!

I had my first shot of depo injection (contraceptive 12 week) in april then was due another 1 june 22nd which i never had as wanting to try for 2nd child, anyhow I started spotting (tmi but brown 'gunk') a few days before it 'ran out' I am currently still spotting and sometimes a lot then not a lot but only once had fresh red blood sorry tmi... but im not ovulating atall (doing the tests etc) and not pregnant I have been refered to gyno but for my ongoing pains during sex.. do you think I should wait till the appointment to tell them? have you been in this situation? and what was your outcome? thanks

it takes time to start ovulating again after depo. I stopped when we wanted to TTC again for DS2 and it took 6 months to get pregnant again. The bleeding on and off is normal while your cycle settles down again

The thing that worrys me was that I wasnt on any sort of contraceptive for just over a year normal cycles etc in that year nothing.. not even a day late period.. then I took it to heart too much and made my mistake of depo.. doc said you'll be fine and return to normal straight away.. which was a lie.
