how many weeks am I?

Hey, I am new to this and have read the acronyms, most dont make sense to me so any replies, please just type the whole thing lol
Anyway
I had an early MC in Feb at 6ish weeks. I then had a period about 1 month later, this lasted twice as long as my normal periods and twice as heavy. My cycle is normally around 28-30 days I think
I was due on in April, when I missed the period I did a test, I was pregnant again however I had another early MC (in May) on the cusp of 6 weeks. My next period was around 3 weeks later (29th May) and lasted 4 days (normal for me). My phone app said I was then due on, on the 7th July, I never came on and did a pregnancy test...positive! We are waiting for an early scan at EPU next week, however having both previous MC's at 6 weeks I am eager to know how many weeks pregnant I am. It has been 6 weeks 5 days since the first day of my last period however my cycle is clearly messed up.

Any advice would be helpful, sorry if this is confusing, please feel free to ask any questions!

thanks for the reply, yeah thats what me and partner first thought, but then the gap between when I was due on 8th July and the first day of my last period 29th May is quite big that means my cycle is now really long. This would effect when I ovulated and how many weeks I actually am, right? that is why I am confused and thinking maybe I am not as far gone as I hope I am

Hi congrats on the latest pregnancy.

I don't understand how your phone app would work out your period to be due on the 8th July? With the first day of your last period being the 29th May and your cycle being 28 to 30 days, then you would have expected your period under normal circumstances to be on 26th/28th June.

Also you say you miscarried in May and your next period was 3 weeks later. I wonder whether the second period was actually the tail end of the miscarriage? Did you get a negative test after your miscarriage in May before your next period on the 29th May? Sometimes the hcg can take a long time to decline (even with an early miscarriage) and the bleeding can be start/stop too.

As for how far along you are, it is impossible to say, as your cycle can change following a m/c. Especially with the first proper period after a miscarriage, it can be late due to a later ovulation.

So yes according to your LMP you are 6weeks 5 days but it is very possible that you may have ovulated later than you would have normally, and so might not be as far along as you think. I am sorry that you have been through so many losses, but hope that this time you will have a wonderful babe in arms at the end of this pregnancy.

I know its confusing, the thing is I dont tell the app my cycle, it works it out. and it didnt dawn on me straight away that the gap between due period and last period was so big until a couple of days ago.
I am pretty sure what I had in the end of May was a period. I didnt do any more tests after the MC, but (sorry to be graphic and it sounds awful) but I actually passed the baby sac. And the "period" at the end of May was the normal length for me. It's just really hard to work out when I would have ovulated. Phone App says most fertile week 13th June and ovulation 18th June.
Guess we will just have to wait til early scan at EPU next week, hopefully they will be able work something out!
