Basically does anyone else use them and what's your opinion. I bought as they are so cheap and wanted to keep checking how I was doing after a MC.
What are your experiences of them?

I've used the pregnancy tests & they are ok

ChuckleMonster · 16/07/2012 11:59

I have used the OPK and HPT. They have both been fine for me (apart from the lack of BFP on the HPT in recent months, but thats not really their fault!)

Me too, just searching for that BFP. The OPK just show very faint for me so don't know whether to believe them or not.

Hmmm. I'm not sure about them. I did a side-by-side test of First Response and One-Step and only the First Response gave me a positive. I was using them as recommended. However, FR is pretty spenny if you've been trying for nearly a year as I have!

Talking about OPKs, not HPT Smile

Oh I thought you meant HPT at first. Don't know what to think about them. Trying to get into charting but keep forgetting to take temperature when I first wake up so not clearly working x

I've only used the digi smiley CBS. I can't be doing with trying to figure out if the lines dark enough. They work for me and have got preg from using them. But my friend couldn't get on with them and never got a smile. She has 2 kids. So I guess everyones different

Have used OPK and Pregnancy tests. Interestingly there are two separate brands that go by "One Step" - both are eBay cheapies but the packaging is different and one is thicker than the other. All seem to work fine for me - never had a false positive, unless we're talking serious squinters which are probably shadows. They also pick up at 8/9 dpo, same as a First Response does for me.

The only downside is that if you get a BFP, they don't get dark as quickly as more expensive brands, but so long as you're aware of that it's not a big deal.
