So, I thought I was pregnant, faint line on pregnancy test, felt a bit under the weather, period 7 days late but unfortunately that isn't the case as it has just shown up today :(

I was just wondering if anyone uses these and if so, which ones? I didn't when we conceived my DS as I got pregnant the second month of trying but thought I might give them a go this time round depending on people's views.

TIA

Ive used them but only for one month so far i got the clear blue ones with the smiley face because i didnt want to have to try and interperate a line its got to be as dark or darker than control line (i think) i thought they were good. i like to know im timing things about right. ov sticks are slightly inconvient as best done in the afternoon. i was luckly did the first on a sat and on the sun got my smile so didnt use anymore althought i think some people would wee on another the next day anyway.
i had a friend use them loads and never got a smile shes just about to have her second child so i dont think the sticks work for everyone.

hi patches, I use the internet cheapies, nothing special just a strip to dunk. I get them off amazon for about £10 per 100. As cartoon says, they are usually best done in the afternoon but I have found that late evening/early morning are best for me weirdo!! as my peak tends to occur overnight.

I'm sorry your period has shown up for you, I also had that happen this month after getting a positive. The good news is you are apparently more fertile for a couple of months after getting a positive/early loss so fingers crossed you get your sticky soon x

Thanks guys. Think I'll give them a go, but it'll just be the cheapies.

Do you use the cheapy pregnancy tests too?

If you use the cheapies I suggest testing every wee when you think it might be OV time. They are so cheap that there is nothing to lose really. I found that it needed to be the second wee of the day rather than the afternoon.
Once you've found out what time of day suits you, you can narrow it down.
