Coming off the pill and symptoms of that mimicking pregnancy?

Help me out please ...

Stopped the pill last month (cilest) in rediance for TTC DC2. Have had plentiful sex. Over the last few weeks have been suffering waves of nausea, boobs a bit achey at times, but more full. Also super bloated and super tired.

Do you think these symptoms could be due to hormonal fluctations as I have stopped the pill? Is my body just playing cruel tricks on me with pregnancy esque symptoms?

(Background with DC1, had one period coming off the pill and then conceived. Distinctly also remember the waves of nausea in the month I conceived but also had period style pains, which I assumed was my period arriving, but turned out to be implanation type pains)

I had many pregnancy symptoms coming off cerazette, and also felt like death warmed up! Dizzy, sore boobs, funny taste in mouth, hugely bloated. It settled down after about 3-4 weeks

Hi there,

Every month I get PG symptoms before AF arrives. I think we tend to notice them more aswell when TTC.

I've got them right now but have had two -ives this morning at 12DPO. So know I'm not PG.

But of course there's no way to really tell until your AF arrives. Good luck with TTC. Smile

I posted about this last month. Despite starting TTC trying to be totally rational (wow, that lasted long, not), I was completely and utterly convinced I was pregnant last month (the first after coming off the pill). I went through two weeks of feeling sick every morning, feeling spaced out and dizzy, being incredibly bloated....I even went off wine Shock

Needless to say, I was very disappointed when AF arrived.

Not to say you're not pregnant - you could well be, but don't worry about any of these symptoms if you're not. They appear to be pretty normal.

Thanks everyone. Just need to chill out about it all. I think we had a much better attitude with ds as we weren't really trying but now am getting myself stupidly anxious about it all
