Had ov confirmed by blood test, should have had period any time between today and five days ago. Still testing BFN. Anyone else been through this? Is it possible to ov and not get a period?

No, I don't think it is.......
When was your blood test?
Eek!

It was last Monday (so not this Monday gone but the one before)

That was day 21...

I have sore boobs and vague crampy feelings, but nothing happened yet either way.

Is guess you must have been 5dpo in order to get a positive, so that'd make you minimum 15dpo today... Have you tested again?
Am crossing my fingers for you!

Hi

Your blood test was checking that progesterone was raised, a good indicator that you ovulated. But it would not have tested estrogen levels, and it is estrogen that ensures adequate endometrial development for menses to occur. So it is possible to ovulate without getting a period, but it is very unusual (in PCOS there is often a decrease in times of ovulation too.)

As keepitgoing has said it is possible that you were only 5dpo when you got the test and therefore it might be early days yet. Some women have a 16day luteal phase and so if you take that as an outer extreme too, it is possible that you might still get your period either today or tomorrow.

Having said that, it is also possible that you could be pregnant and the levels not high enough to detect yet. (or like two of my relatives never get a positive pregnancy test while pregnant!)

I hope that you get the positive outcome you desire!
