folic acid while still on mini-pill pre TTC?

Is it OK to take folic acid while still on mini pill (micronor)?

Am not yet TTC but am 37yo so was thinking I could boost my folic acid before coming off the mini pill, to gain a bit of time, so we don't have to wait 3 months after I come off pill to get folic acid to right levels.

Yup, that'll be fine. My consultant told me to do this so I had the right build-up of folic acid ready for when I came off the pill.

Pop those pills!

Yes, it's only a B vitamin.

I've been taking it since last October, while I was still on the injection and carried on through the pill and now no birth control.

I decided that it probably wouldn't hurt!
