Ok so best guess is OV sometime in the past 3 days. Should really wait until 21st to test going by previous cycle length.

I'm not a good 2 week waiter. Am impatient and mental and a particularly avid symptom spotter. Please come and keep me company in this fortnight of doom...........

Hi camel
-slides in and makes myself comfy-
think I've seen you around!
I'm testing around the 22nd ( could defo be persuaded a day early though) had + opk yesterday but not sure if correct ( long story) usually says 17/19 but cd17 tomoz anyway

CamelKnees · 06/07/2012 21:37

Hi kitty!

Make yourself at home!

Must say your "think I've seen you around" has made me laugh. Is like chat up line or similar! Makes me thing of strange TTC devoted pick up joint where everyone makes small talk about CM, temps and OPKs. Ha!

I have GOT to wait until 21st this month. Had a bit of a mental breakdown last month and tested intermittently from CD19 (I'm know, I know I'm a fecking idiot) all the way through to CD3 of this cycle. Had clearly lost allllllllll of my marbles. Determined to try and be a tiny bit less bonkers this month.

So, how you feeling? Positive? Boarder-line certifiable? Sick to death of all of the sex.... (think I am the last 2!)

kittykatsforever · 06/07/2012 21:45

Lol at pick up lines, can you imagine..... so would you like an epo or opk?
How regular are you ?
Well you sound as certifiable as me, I tested dpo6 last month!! Still I did manage to stop when ad came!!!! What were you thinking lol
I'm on a mad did I didn't I ov at the minute which is worse as I like to give up the dtd after dpo2 so now I've got to keep going!!!

CamelKnees · 06/07/2012 22:25

Oh snap re OV uncertainty (and taking a break from all the sex). I feel vor you having to keep going. Nothing like obligatory humping to kill the mood.

Im normally pretty regular give or take a day or 2 but also normally get a fair bit of EWCM. None this time (or I missed it) so not sure what to make of that. Get very noticeable OV symptoms that stop almost immediately after OV so I'm hoping I must have done....

OP posts:
kittykatsforever · 06/07/2012 22:42

Yes I've had no Ewcm yet so that's adding to the uncertainty, I've only been looking at that for this cycle and one before though so not sure what is " usual" for me, I love Poas too much lol
Think I had bad ov pains last month but nothing again so far so will keep making myself dtd until I'm sure or its got to cd20 something

19th for me, though not optimistic this month. :-/

CamelKnees · 07/07/2012 11:56

Hi Lisamol and NicolaHazel

lisamol I applaud your insanity levels. Similarly I only tested on CD3 as AF lasted for 8 hours on CD1 then went AWOL until CD4. God knows what was going on.

Going from the feel of my cervix I'm pretty sure I'm 1 or 2 DPO so let the countdown begin....

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 07/07/2012 12:32

Ooh, Camel (waves back) I think I'm about that too. The only difference is length of cycle. :-)

Not sure I caught it this month though, what with tiredness and not wanting to force the issue with H2B when we are only on our second cycle. I am sane in RL, only mental on here!

And I've had spotting since CD14, CD18 now. Annoying and makes me think I've no chance. I have to admit to POAS on CD14 as I felt so weird though. Dunked a HPT and an OPK simultaneously. Not odd at all!

Well, before birth control (many moons ago) I didn't spot. The reason I changed from the pill to the injection was that I did. Though I didn't with subsequent pill usage.

So, this is my second cycle without BC and I don't actually know what is normal really!

Hey op, you must be my ovulation twin Wink ive given up testing now though and just wait for dear AF to make her unwelcome appearance.

PedanticPanda · 07/07/2012 15:55

Although reading through this thread, I should probably admit, I've only decided to stop poas because I went a bit crazy for a few months just there poas 4 times in one month, poas after AF just incase, and poas super early incase I got a faint little line...

I'm trying to save my sanity!

NicolaHazel · 07/07/2012 16:13

I am, Lisa, missed the post today, so will post my form on Monday now.

I'm hoping it is a good sign. And if it isn't, at least I'll have free CB tests next month :-)

kittykatsforever · 07/07/2012 16:22

Lisa, I had to do the same and came back early thur to dtd before we picked up dd from nursery! Shifts take away all spontinuity don't they!!
Wish I knew if I'd ovd, I'll just have to keep going I guess and Poas a few more times just incase!
I too am doing the cb trial, sent letter this morning but it doesn't ask when your due af etc so not sure what the next step is, do they contact us again do you think?

NicolaHazel · 07/07/2012 16:31

I think they'll just send the initial batch and wait for your first wee samples to arrive! Maybe.

CamelKnees · 07/07/2012 20:08

Hi panda! I really should wait until AF due but never seem to make it. I blame the eBay cheapies in the bathroom cupboard. If i only had more expensive tests in the house I don't think I'd POAS so incessantly (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

I've had to work from home a couple of times to make dtd at the right time possible. Like to think of it less as mental control freakery behaviour and more as good sense Grin

Ooh maybe if we're unlucky this time we can have a CBFM sponsored thread next month. I'm borrowing a friend's if no luck this time...

I like the idea of freebies!!!!!

NicolaHazel · 08/07/2012 09:42

Me too, kitty!

CamelKnees · 08/07/2012 12:56

You know that whole thing about not testing until AF is due? Fear I've failed already by marking on the calendar in the kitchen when 12DPO is. It's a sickness!

Ps - have got weird mildish PMT type cramps today. Seems far too soon to be AF. Hoping it's a good sign...

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 08/07/2012 13:17

I've been feeling odd in one way or another since CD14, Camel, but trying not to read too much into it.

Can definitely feel my uterus right now, if that makes sense?!

According to one of those terribly addictive baby calculator things, I wouldn't even implant until 13th, so I'm clearly making it up in my head. Or just thinking it's something it's not. Easy done though.

DulcetMoans · 08/07/2012 13:43

Testing 19th with nicola but again, not feeling so confident now as not DTD since thurs after starting so strongly. Think we peaked too soon although not convinced I ov'd yet so who knows?? It's all a guessing game!

NicolaHazel · 08/07/2012 13:52

I'd feel happier if I'd DTD on Weds, not Tues, as I OV'd Thurs / Fri. And if it was Fri, although sperm lives, I've not given myself the best chance. Especially as I then didn't DTD again til Sat.

Will be my own fault if I fail!
