Anyone testing on Friday 13!!

Got a good feeling about this one for a few reasons! #1 it's dd1's birthday #2 EDD would be DM's birthday #3 it's the last chance (hence my name!) to get a bfp as dh had the 'snip' 2 days before m/c in March following a surprise pg. The snip was planned before bfp as already have 2 dd's age 14 & 11 so thought we had completed our family a loooong time ago :o anyway anyone with me?

Me too! I have a wedding to go to on the Saturday 14th and I really need to know by Friday 13th if I can drink or not!! How lame is that? By then, I will be on day 33 of my cycle and it's still feasible that I'm not late by then as my monthly cycle used to range from 31 to 35 days. Just hoping it either comes before the wedding so I can drink (and I know where I stand), or that the test on the 13th tells me its a positive. Would be annoying if the test were to be negative but still no period as I won't be sure if I can trust the result. Hard to know what may happen this month as it's the first month of TTC since coming off the pill, so I am symptom spotting on a daily basis as this body just doesn't feel like my own at the moment! Too many unfamiliar natural hormones floating around - just confusing me.

Will post here if it's a positive on the 13th :-)

Ahhh thanks veggie was beginning to think I was the only person in the whole world testing next fri! I know what you mean about drinking have to admit to a couple of glasses of fizz tonight as its dh birthday :o and as for symptom spotting I have been poking boobs all day so no wonder their sore now :) I think everyone else must think I'm a bit crazy expecting a bfp following dh 'snip' but it only takes one......... Anyway good luck for next fri fingers x :)

I'm testing in Friday too Grin not holding out much hope as only DTD once! AF is due 11/12th I think so may crack and test early Grin

Hi winter you never know as it only takes one little swimmer :o! I know what you mean about cracking and testing early I was very proud of myself yesterday for walking away from the' frer' test in superdrug - I will not buy any until thurs eve! Although I do have a cbd but not waisting it until I get a definite line! Do you have any dc yet or is this your first?

Well, I didn't need to do a test, as I got my period over this weekend. :-( waaaaay earlier than ever before I went on the pill. I was a bit surprised as it means I must have a 27 day cycle, when I thought it used to be around 31-33 days ish. So I can only assume either my cycle's sped up as I've got into my mid 30s, which apparently can happen, or it was a bit of a strange adjustment phase after coming off the pill. So I guess with getting my dates wrong then I probably missed the window for TTC, as it was earlier than I expected. Bit sad at the moment, but I guess it would've been pretty lucky to have a BFP in the first month of trying! At least I can have a drink at this wedding next week, then start again next month. So the symptoms were clearly PMT and nothing else! Silly me.

Grin that is very true. We have a 1 year old DS and DP has a 6 year old DD.

Oh veggie so sorry af got you :( I got pg with dd2 straight after coming off the pill so it can happen Shock At least you know you can enjoy some Wine at the wedding :o.

winter I figured by the time i get the IC it would be Thursday anyway so I WILL WAIT Hmm
So symptom spotting for me today include headache, boobs that would give Jordan a run for her money, the odd tummy twinge/cramp and the mandatory zit pimple.
Last month af got me 3 days early which would make that tomorrow so who knows..............

Well that's me out too :( af got me a day early. I'm not that surprised really but just hoped that this would be my lucky last chance. Not sure how I feel really. Obviously adore my 2 dd's but just feel as if I have 'empty arms syndrome' now. If you had told me at the beginning of the year I would be wanting a baby I would have thought the whole world had gone mad but now it can't happen it's all I really want :( Anyway enough from me - good luck to you both on your ttc journey and thank you for holding my hand Thanks I hope you both get your bfp's very soon xx
