Some good reasons why I shouldn't test today! I'm cd 24, cycles are normally 28-30 days. I know it's better to wait, but iv woken up this morning sure i should poas! Deep down, I don't want too. I don't want the disappointment, and the 'it's probably too early!!'
Plus I haven't had any symptoms and feel fine!

I thought you good ladies could convince me it's a bad idea!!!

I can only speak from experience. I POAS using one of the very early testers, at around 26 days (cycle is 31). I re-tested every day using the early testers until 35 days, when it finally showed the tiniest, faintest line. It's an expensive business testing early, I'd advise you to wait for a week, then you'll probably know for sure. I know, I know, you can't wait. Go on then, just to put your mind at rest.

Thanks! I haven't got any in the house anyway so I'd have to go and buy one and I'm not going to do that until I'm late!! X :)

A bit late for today, you will have made the decision to pee or not to pee by now :) but when I get a desperate urge to POAS I do it on an IC OPK. I buy them in batches of 100 so they are dirt cheap compared to HPTs. Seeing that really faint line is usually enough to convince me not to waste an HPT, but if it comes up nice and dark well that's another matter!

Well I thought I'd let you know I still haven't cracked! Cd 30 now, cycles range from 28-31 days do I figured if I have waited this long I can wait until the end of the week! Haven't had any pregnancy symptoms though and never know AF is going to arrive until it actually does so it's a waiting game! Had a few sharp pains in lower tummy over the last few days but that could be because I'm looking for something! After 15 months I tend to do that alot!! X

All my willpower was for nothing AF arrived today :-( never mind. You get used to the disappointment after a while. Good luck to every else xxx
