Don't know if any of you have seen the trial on the Clearblue website? I don't know if they are trialling the fertility monitor or digital ovulation kits but it might be worth joining. I know that some ladies on Fertility Friend.com have been contacted already. They are looking for people who are not receiving treatment and have regular periods.

The trial lasts 3 months Smile

Just been on the site but can't see where to register?? Do you have a link?

Mrsb999 · 04/07/2012 21:01

Me too...just checked the site and can't see anything? Link would be much appreciated!

NicolaHazel · 04/07/2012 21:16

It popped up on the home page for me, kind of central.

Mrsb999 · 04/07/2012 21:23

Strange, I still can't see it! Were you looking on your phone or laptop/ pc?

NicolaHazel · 04/07/2012 21:29

Laptop, using Chrome (not sure if browser makes a difference).

Mrsb999 · 04/07/2012 21:31

Thanks, will try laptop now!

Mrsb999 · 04/07/2012 21:37

Worked on the laptop! Haven't filled it in yet, I'm new to all this (as in husband and I decided 2 days ago to try for our first child) so would like to know what the trial involves first if anyone has any ideas?

Jenjen85 · 04/07/2012 21:48

Iv just logged onto the laptop now an applied :-) Apparently (read this on another forum but dated back to 07) they give you A cbfm for 6 months to trial in return you have to keep a diary and send back wee samples in pre paid envelopes.
Hope this helps :-)

NicolaHazel · 04/07/2012 21:50

Wee samples in the post?! Bet they don't go missing / stolen! :-)

Jenjen85 · 04/07/2012 21:57

I'm sure a lot of them will lol someone from the research team will be in contact regarding the survey so will wait an see now if they contact me or not

Southsearocks · 05/07/2012 07:03

Oops, sorry I meant to say you need Flash Player to see it!

Mrsb - the monitors are expensive so it might be worth you joining if they are giving out freebies. You literally wee on a stick and the monitor works out the best days for doing-the-do to maximise your chances of getting pregnant. The trial does ask you to send in samples and fill out questionnaires for 3 months I believe.

I filled the form in online last night about midnight. Said i could talk at 12 45, so lo and behold at 12.42 they call and i've been accepted.

Southsearocks · 05/07/2012 12:57

I'm waiting on a call about 2pm but I'm probably too over the hill! Pleased for those of you who have been accepted. Is the trial for the cbfm?

Jenjen85 · 05/07/2012 14:32

I'm waiting on a call (2pm) but not received one yet So maybe they have enough people in my age bracket (im 26)??? Great news for all that have been accepted tho :-)

Mrsb999 · 05/07/2012 16:21

Just had a call....been accepted! But where I'm going to store 2 weeks worth of urine samples I don't know!

AmayaBuzzbee · 05/07/2012 17:01

I applied this mornung, said best time to call is 1pm. They called at 3pm -also got accepted! :-D

babyjames · 05/07/2012 18:13

exciting stuff :) What questions did they ask when they phoned?

AmayaBuzzbee · 05/07/2012 18:29

They asked pretty much the same questions that I already answered in the form when applying. You need to be 18-45yrs, so they are looking at all ages. I was too excited so forgot to ask which product it was! They said ovulation prediction product. Maybe it is something new? :-)

MumOfTwoCats · 05/07/2012 18:31

They asked if you have regular periods, have been off the pill for three months, breastfeeding, how many days in your cycle. Receiving treatment for infertility. You need to be between 18 and 49. Mine said nothing about storing for two weeks? They sen full written details so i may have missed that.
