Questions to ask Doctor

Hi, am hoping someone in here can help.

I've been off the pill for about 2 years now, and while we only started 'focussed' TTC efforts (for which read charting and other obsessive habits including unusual interest in 'pant snot' (thanks MN!)) for about 8 months, we were trying without trying before that.

We've not had much success, and am thinking of going to the docs to see if there are any reasons, or if we've just been unlucky - I'm early 30s, DH a bit older.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what I should ask/say at the first appointment?

TIA

Just tell them you haven't been using contraception for 2 yrs and haven't got pregnant yet. They will most likely send you for blood tests (on days 2-5 and 21 of your cycle) and possibly a scan. They might also ask your husband to give a "sample".
