Thought we could do with a new thread since the old one is full.

OP posts:
ConfusedMumDotCom · 13/07/2012 14:42

wilde mornings are better for conception. Every time I fell pg it was from sleepy morning sex Blush

StateofConfusion · 13/07/2012 14:52

I swear the baby just rolled over it properly made me squirm and jump up off the couch! Scared dp a bit Blush How on earth can it be making such huge movements, atleast that's how it feels, at 16+6.

wilderumpus · 13/07/2012 15:36

hehe confused we accidentally fell pg with DS with a lovely morning session :) sadly unless it is at 5am these days morning sex is not an option with DS. ho hum.

state that is lovely :) Around 17 weeks DS used to give me the oddest rolling feelings when I was walking, all squirmy and wishy washy.

I think I am ov'ing today now, out of nowhere! I normally get a nice fade in on the opks and more days of EWCM but have quite strong AF type cramps, feel a bit sicky (hormone surge i spect) and the opk this aft doesn't look as strong as this morn (though could be diluted). Have had v sore bbs and been spotty for a few days so thought this month might be early :( WTF cycle number three?!

Am sort of trying to make it a positive and just look forward to finding out about our June baby when we are on holiday in Sept - I would find out on our wedding anniversary :) In the meantime, am going to finish most of my PhD and lose a bit more weight so I look sumptuous in my pregnancy.

still a bit 'bah shit-tits' about it but at least am not seething with resentment cross with DH any more.

Thanks for responding to my whining ladies x

Tiago · 13/07/2012 18:48

State - I've now got to the point where movement can be seen by looking at my stomach. T'is quite good fun :)

Quicksie · 13/07/2012 18:53

moomin I live in woodthorpe so very close to you! I love the park.

lurcher my wtf cycle has presented me with every symptom under the sun! My first period was pretty normal too, second one was preceded by a week of spotting and so far has lasted ten days! My gp said it can take three cycles to get back on track and especially if you were on the ll for a long time before conception (I was, then got pregnant before first period). Feel free to pm me if you want more details!
my cycles have gone from 28 days to 35, crazy hormones!

pebs have a great holiday.

heeheeif you are worried (hard not to worry) get on the blower to the epu. Even if they can't do much this week, they will be aware of you! My epu have been great and I think keeping those communication channels open helps.

wilde you are being very mature.... I think I would be seething! Every cycle seems like the end of the world rather than another chance, your attitude puts me to shame with my pouty bottom lip and sighing!

HeeHeeHeeBum · 13/07/2012 19:13

I just did a clearblue digital test. I was expecting it to say 2-3 but it said 3+ :o I am a bit reassured.

Have a nice evening everyone.

StateofConfusion · 13/07/2012 21:37

Ahh that's great heehee increase in hgc must be a good sign :)

How many weeks are you tiago?

I think I'm so alarmed by the movements as it means I can't metal, I can't think its going wrong and I have to believe I am carrying a baby, a new member of our family not a ticking time bomb about to break my heart. Its all very confusing.

Quicksie · 13/07/2012 22:58

heehee that is great news! Sounds like it was just one of those strange pregnancy things sent to drive us metal then!
state you brought a lump to my throat...bless you!

thinkingpositivethoughts · 14/07/2012 00:07

I've been lurking for a few weeks after MCin April- still waiting for end of wtf cycle. It's so lovely to hear about the babies on their way, gives me so much hope.

We're planning on TTC again next month although I've been a bit emotional thinking things through, some days I'm completely fine, others in bits. Today had been a bit of a grey day but you've cheered me up!

Also love the swearing on this thread, you ladies express yourself the way I do when needs must!

Welcome treat of homemade gluten free brownies and strong coffee to pre-empt tomorrow's hangover!

Quicksie · 14/07/2012 11:18

welcome thinking, sorry you found yourself here but very pleased to have you on board! Everyone here is really kind and supportive, grey days are a bit easier.
I mc'd in april too, also hoping to ttc this month...next month... Dp is more metal than I am about it, but probably because he thinks more than I do!

wilderumpus · 15/07/2012 16:42

where are you all?! enjoying the wind and rain?!

how are people? Welcome thinking, am sorry you are hear though. I had my mc in April too and this is our frist proper ttc cycle after. Took me ages to come to terms with it all so look after yourself.

aw state. I so hope you do relax and enjoy your pregnancy very soon :)

YAY hee that is fab for you!

All is much better in my house: I am ov'ing today, had a definite pos opk yesterday and have dtd the past two nights and will tonight too :) So tomorrow am firmly planting my generous behind in the 2ww. so have gone from having no chance to having a smashing one this month, and brilliantly I am really busy with work and going away at the weekend so hopefully it should go pretty quickly. I am also strictly banned from symptom spotting as I seem to gt every symptom every month after the mc - even vivid dreams and leaky boobs?! Confused

Hope everyone is having fun times

wilderumpus · 15/07/2012 16:43

HERE not hear Blush

Jollyb · 15/07/2012 17:22

Hello all from sunny France (well actually there's a big grey cloud over to the east so am refusing to look that way).

Wilde your posts have made me smile. My partner left to go on holiday a few days before me and I was convinced that we'd miss my fertile window. On the day he left he had about 45 mins to finish his packing and shower etc- I pounced on him like a deranged woman. Fortunately my clearblue monitor didn't show 'peak' until the morning I was leaving and so we have managed to do the deed on the right day. Am very happy as I didn't get a peak last cycle so fingers crossed this is the one.

Hope everyone's well. 2ww here I come

Quicksie · 15/07/2012 17:40

good luck wilde and jolly... Sounds promising doesn't it! My fingers are crossed for us all this month.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 15/07/2012 19:01

Hi ladies.

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Not much doing here, just running around after DD. I've been busy with my head in the sand ignoring the fact that I am pg. I've just come up to our bedroom to find that DH has raised the end of our bed. I get terrible oedema when pg (dodgy kidneys) and it helps to sleep with my feet elevated. So clearly DH has been thinking about that and worrying about me. Never felt so loved by such a small act of thoughtfulness. Getting a bit tearing eyed. Blush. Although I am resolutely not thinking about the pg until after my scan on Thursday.

sets out a selection of leftovers, including roast chicken and apple crumble

Tiago · 15/07/2012 19:46

State I am 23+5 as of today.

I'm also about to head to the states for three weeks - I booked a holiday before we conceived and fortunately the return flight falls just before airlines start getting funny about pregnancy.

Polka2 · 15/07/2012 20:39

Heehee great news your levels are increasing, hope you're feeling ikSmile

Wilde so glad you're having a good month and have managed to DTD at the right times.

Sorry I haven't name checked one and all, just a fleeting visit!

AFM so desperately trying to stay positive but after 4 cycles since mmc with ov'ing, no alcohol and v little caffeine and no bloody BFP I'm beginning to lose the faith and fear it'll take me another 4 years to get pg again......agggggh........... Head fuckBlush

Polka2 · 15/07/2012 20:40

That's meant read 'ok' heehee not ik!!!!

HeeHeeHeeBum · 16/07/2012 08:53

Morning ladies.

State How lovely, I can't wait to feel movements! I can't imagine what it's like but it must be amazing :)

Welcome thinking.

wilde Yay for all the dtd. V. happy for you :)

Confused That is lovely of your DH. My DH has been wonderful too, it really helps.

Polka I am indeed feeling ik :) Need to work on the nausea remedies.

Ugh, the nausea has definitely kicked in, I feel dreadful! Doesn't help that I'm emetophobic. The only thing that seems to work is eating constantly, I'm going to be huge!

wilderumpus · 16/07/2012 14:12

thanks hee and polka Grin am delighted to be in the 2ww with a decent chance (though is always only a chance, boo). Test a week on weds...

big congrats on your pukiness hee. Worried about your emetophobia though, will you be ok?

tiago have a lovely time in the states! three weeks is a lovely long time - do you have family there or anything or is it simply a holiday?

confused how lovely of your DH. Just lovely.

Did you have any investigations into why it took 4 years before polka? And just to be a patronising pain, 4 months really isn't long - it takes the average fertile couple 9 months I believe - and if the mc shows anything it is that you can concieve. I know it doesn't help though thinking these things when you just want to be pg NOW!

have a fabulous holiday jolly. I love the idea of being deranged as a come-on! Hmm

Tiago · 16/07/2012 16:19

It's just a holiday wilde. I am escaping the Olympics in the most definite way I could manage. Grin

Midgetm · 16/07/2012 17:00

Have a great holiday tiago hope they let you back on the plane!

Polka2 · 16/07/2012 18:04

wilde I have pcos hence the massive 4 yr wait for a BFP, ironically a week before starting ivf drugs. as I conceived naturally I have to wait another 12months to start ivf and just SO want to pg before that rigmarole. Everyone said after my mmc that I'd conceive quickly again, just being impatient I suppose but it just worries me as I'm the wrong side if 35!

ConfusedMumDotCom · 16/07/2012 18:32

Have a great holiday tiago

Good luck on the TWW wilde - I do a lot of yoga to get through it.

Sorry I can't name check everyone else on the thread.

sets out an afternoon cream tea dig in!

wilderumpus · 16/07/2012 19:19

aw polka that sounds very trying :( BUT hopefully you will indeed concieve naturally soon. Am sorry to hear about the pcos.

cream tea?! nom! thanks confused I am shredding and working my way through the 2ww - not sure if it is wise but looked online and the consensus seems to be that exercise is good if you enjoy it... yoga sounds lovely - do you go to a class Am very inflexible so am always the dunce of the group whenever I have gone!
