And Aussie, yes, pretty much. First 12 weeks was 15 mins on the cross trainer on a week day, 90 mins on a Sat (2 x 45 with 5 minute rest) and a fast 7 mile walk followed by 60 mins on the cross trainer (2 x 30). With no changes to my diet apart from reducing alcohol. I lost 1 stone doing that.
Then the next 5 weeks, H2B (though he was just DP then!) was working in France, so I signed up to My Fitness Pal and logged calorie intake, as well as upping the Saturday cross trainer to 2 hours (2 x 60). By keeping net intake to about 1250 calories per day, I lost the remaining stone really quickly!
Very hard work and sheet bloody mindedness sorted me out! And now I go for more controlled portions of carnal, drink a little more (but try to stick to vodka) and have the occasional treat, and it has stayed off, thankfully. I barely exercise now either.
