Hi everyone. Hoping someone can offer some advice here.....

I am one week over-due my period. I am usually a 26 day cycle (so in effect I am kind of 9 days late I guess) and thats like clockwork. DD is 12 months old and we had no problems conceiving or with my pregnancy, and got a positive test when my period was 2 days over due with her. This time, we have not been TTC and using the "withdrawal" method (sorry, TMI) as contraception - so I know there is a chance I could be.

I would be very happy to be pregnant again, although would not be upset if I wasn't as we didn't plan another QUITE so soon. I just don't know whats going on!!!! I have made a Doctors appointment for later in the week, but I don't know what she can really do if she tests me again and it's negative. Beginning to stress myself that something might be wrong, especially since I am usually so regular.

Anyone had similar experiences, or can offer any advice? Many thanks.

Also meant to say, I have done 3 tests (all first thing in the morning) on day 2 of being overdue, day 3, and this morning. Cramping a little from time to time, but not "normal" period cramps for me.

Hi this happened to me last year, i went to the GP in the end because i'm normally a 28 day without fail type and my period was ten days late but I was getting negative PG tests.

The GP said there was no point her retesting me as a home PT was as reliable as theirs, so i definitely wouldn't be PG.

She said not to worry about it as occasionally you can just skip a period, perhaps due to stress / being run down etc and it would probably arrive in its own time.

I didn't feel particularly stressed or run down at the time and to be honest i just thought she was fobbing me off but sure enough my period turned up 3 1/2 weeks late and returned to 28 day normality after that, still don't know what that was about but the GP was right....don't know if it is the same for you, obviously, but I hope things sort themselves out for you soon.

Hi, I had a MC in March, waited for my first AF and we ttc again. When my period was a day late I tested and got a negative result so assumed my cycle was just irregular because of the MC. A week later nothing was happening so I tested again and got a very very faint line . I rushed out and got a clearblue digital which said " pregnant 1-2 weeks since conception." From dates I should have been more pregnant, when I went to the GP she said the tests aren't always accurate in predicting time since conception, but as I went on to miscarry the next week I wonder if it was because the HCG level was too low because the pregnancy wasn't viable. With all my other pregnancies I had a definite positive result from a few days after AF due.
Hope it all works out for you.
