Imps I wish I could kick back. Am in work instead. I may try and leave when I can though. I feel sick now too.

cartoonface · 18/07/2012 09:56

perhaps i am major bitch thou for wanting to wear it to a wedding especially when i know that her theme is country garden party and colours are gold and rose pink. i love the dress anyway

cartoonface · 18/07/2012 09:57

hehe i love it return of the munx!!!!!haha

SecretSparkle · 18/07/2012 10:14

Face I would worry about it, a lot of my guest wore teal or similar hues, and I know a friend who requested her family to wear similar colours because it made for better photos! The dress is lovely, shame you wont fit in it though!!!

Geeklette · 18/07/2012 10:52

Ok. Yesterday I was cross. Today I am fuming and ready to rip someone's throat out.

They have tested my bloods for the wrong thing and/or lost my results and just given me random ones and/or mixed my test request/results up with someone else's. The results that have come back are 'Fluid Study - LDH' results. Not even the vaguest whiff of an FSH level on there. The doctor is baffled, as am I. I am picking the test result printout up tonight from the surgery and calling the fertility sister who requested the bloods tomorrow once I have the printout.

I am utterly livid. I now have to wait another month to get another CD3 blood taken, which is probably going to push the cons appointment even further back as they may not book me in until the results have come through.

sparks sorry you're not feeling very optimistic today. You do realise that is a clear sign of diffedness don't you?

GenericDietCola · 18/07/2012 11:15

Oh Geek that is bloody incompetent - I'm not surprised you are fuming.

Cartoon that dress is very pretty and I don't think you are being a bitch!

Imps poor you with the octopigets. I bet you are knackered with all those arms and legs in there. Take it easy.

Maybe, er, it's been said before, but you are preggo fo' sho' with those symptoms!

You too Sparks - temperature schmemperature. There are all sorts of factors that can affect your temps, so let's just wait and see what the pee sticks say (tomorrow?)

Sweetie why do they think 2 follicles = no chance of getting eggs at IVF? Surely 2 follicles = decent chance of two eggs? I like your attitude of 'nothing to lose' and agree you should give it a go.

Bartlet glad your early scan went well!

Oh dear, just read about 5 pages of posts and can't remember what else was going on. Hello to everyone, and especially the 2ww-ers.

All still OK here, but I'm staying away from MN quite a bit as I've exhausted myself with all the mentalling over the last couple of years and I just want to pretend to be a normal preggo person now!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/07/2012 12:42

Oh my goodness Geek I am so Angry on your behalf. What is it with incompetent GP surgeries/phlebotomy centres?

Gen so good to hear all is well. And you are normal. Actually, no you're not. You're a brooker.

Munx how are you?! I now have Return of the Mac stuck in my head Grin

Love the dress Face and the invites!

Princesslovelyboo · 18/07/2012 12:50

Geek that is bloody awful, I can't believe they have fucked it up so bad!! Do you want me to in over these and 'have a word'?

Geeklette · 18/07/2012 13:07

gen that's perfectly understandable, you should enjoy every minute of being a normal preggo person (never mind the 'pretend' bit - you are a normal preggo person!!)

cartoon those are lovely invites - are you having many people? I only ask because there's a fair bit of DIY work needed!

maybe how are you feeling now? Will you have a chance to leave early do you think? They really shouldn't be working a pregnant person so hard.

boo yes please! I'm at the end of my tether and don't feel I can hold a rational conversation with the place. I hope I feel a bit more in control tomorrow!

Work is really busy today with some pretty major things going wrong, which I suppose is both a blessing and a curse. At least I'm not having too much time to just sit and dwell on the screw-up, but I fear I'm going to suffer from adrenalin overdose shortly.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/07/2012 13:09

Oh Geek you really are not having a good day are you? I demand a sit down for 20 minutes with a cup of tea.

I have just finished all my experiments and have written up the data. Sometimes I think I am too efficient. So many people around here manage to make doing nothing look really busy Hmm. I very much want to go home, but am waiting for some DNA to be delivered to me. Yawn.

Geeklette · 18/07/2012 13:12

maybe but I thought you were in the 2ww? Oh - sorry - that wasn't a euphemism then?

cartoonface · 18/07/2012 13:16

geek that really bad about ur tests useless bastards.
we need around 80 invites so not toooo bad

keepitgoing · 18/07/2012 13:16

geek that's dreadful. You should def complain. If they can't find the real results and say you can't book the consultant appt until the next set come through I suggest you kick up a big fuss, stress that the issue was of their doing. That should work. I assume you will have another cd3 before the appt though.

Deep breath.

maybe go home, let someone else sign for your DNA..

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/07/2012 13:31

No, I am in the 2ww Geek, 8DPO to be exact Grin

Wish I could go home Keep but this is one of those times where if I don't do it myself, I knwo it won't get done at all. It had better bloody come today though, or else Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/07/2012 13:50

To add insult to injury, BBC News tells me I have missed a huge firefighter protest through my home city. Gutted.

keepitgoing · 18/07/2012 14:07

Ooh firefighters! Yummy

Am trying to disassemble a desk. Can't do it. It has those screws that go in sideways and connect with something else... I think... Instructions lost...

Argh

JenFraggle · 18/07/2012 14:15

80 invites! How many people are you inviting? I had just under 80 guests in total :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 18/07/2012 14:42

OOooh, yes Frootz can we have a secret handshake and everything? I like the idea of quatriple (see what I did there) whammy Friday Grin

147 guests Face that's impressive

SecretSparkle · 18/07/2012 14:53

I actually love the idea that maybes ttc efforts have become so clinical and involved that she's started accepting DNA deliveries to her office/lab!!

Gen thanks for the encouragement but I wouldnt set you alarm to get up early to see what my pee stick says!! I'm not even sure I'd be able to convince myself to POAS when i hadnt been visited by AF for 9 months Hmm
