9dpo.. Is it too early to test???

Me an my DH ate TTC #1 and it's our first month of trying after havin my coil out anyway I think I'm 9dpo and Af is due on Saturday is it too early to test? Been out today on my lunch and bought a test from Tesco but not sure if I'll just be wasting my money. What do you think??

It'd be rare to get a +ive this early and if you get a neg you still won't know for definate as it could be too early so I think your better waiting, even if it's just till tomorrow using fmu

Too early! If this is your first month of trying you are understandably excited, but you will waste a lot of money this way- you might as well just flush a fiver down the toilet!

Even the most sensitive tests are not reliable until at least 11dpo, and you really are better off waiting at least until your period is due.

I'm not trying to put a downer on your excitement, I speak from bitter experience
