Calling all those who've been pg: symptom help!!

Hi all
Sorry if this has been done before but I'm really confused and the search didn't help me Confused

So I'm in the 2 ww. Now every month about 4 days after OV (day 14 of 28 cycle) I get sore boobs, then about a week before AF due get spots round chin :( and v. Bloated tummy.

I've read on here that actually if you are pg it's unlikely you'd get any symptoms at all at the stage. So, does that mean I would expect NOT to have sore boobs, spots and bloat, OR does it mean my body doesn't yet know im pg due to not implanting yet and therefore i'd have these symptoms anyway?! Please help :(

I think some people have very normal cycle symptoms when they are actually pregnant, and others notice that those symptoms are missing or that something else happens. So I think the answer is either! Not very helpful I know.

I was pregnant three months in a row this year (two v. early losses then one that stuck) so I got to compare three conception cycles one after another and in fact I did have a very similar set of symptoms each time at the same time - hot and sick 48 hours after conception every time (I went on to have hypermesis!), but also a series of other things that were consistent: extra hungry, dizzy and an odd sore throat each time too. But to be honest if the first pregnancy had worked out and I'd only gone through it once I'd only have noticed the queasy hunger and the bright pink face!

I definitely had symptoms before implantation every time. I was confused by this so looked it up and apparently the tiny ball of cells does send out hormonal messages before implantation. So if you are convinced something is different almost immediately you're not necessarily imagining it.

Thanks so much Kalidasa, did you also get your Pre AF symptoms as well these new odd ones?

Sort of - I had some cramps and spotting as I usually get just pre-period, but these can be signs of implantation as well. To be honest, by the time I reached that stage (i.e. period due) it was already really obvious for me because I was so sick and dizzy by then, but it's unusual to have such strong sickness so quickly.

Thanks Kalidasa! Turns out I am pg so it seems you can have exact period like symptoms before :o

Congratulations scub and thanks for asking a question that had been bugging me and providing the answer yourself - brilliant!
I really think I could be pg - boobs are massive and sore, cramps, moody an tired but the main thing that's got me thinkjng isn't exactly symptom spotting: my usually antisocial and scratchy (seriously I had blood tests the other day and the nurse felt it necessary to discuss self harm) 14 week old kitten now loves me and she has spent most of the last week sitting calmly and purring on my lap/tummy.
