Hi there,
Basically I'm a bit confused...
So, last month I tempd (didn't have any OPKs). Through temping I realised that I'd OVd on CD18, the previous month it was CD16. Both times AF arrived on 14DPO. So one cycle of 30 days and one of 32 days. So this month I decided to get some OPKs instead of having to DTD every night from CD10 to CD20 (to cover all eventualities)!
When I OVd during temping last month, on OV day my temp dip was 36.29 and the day after was 36.44. The days previous to OV were around 36.35-36.40.
This month I didn't temp but instead, did an OPK on CD12 (-ive), CD13 (-ive but a definite faint line), yesterday CD14 (+ive as dark as, if not slightly darker than the control line). But this morning, I took my temp and it was 36.44 (and looking back over my records on FF, most of my 'day-post-OV' temps were around this temp.
So, this afternoon, at the same time that I did an OPK yesterday, I did another one and this time, a barely there faint line, so definitely -ive.
So my question is, is it possible that I OVd on the same day (or overnight) that I got a +ive OPK result?
I'm not particularly worried as to timing if that's the case as we DTD on CD9, CD11, CD13 and yesterday, CD14. What I don't want to do is not DTD, if I haven't actually OVd yet. In regards my cycles, I've only been off the pill since April and last time when TTC for DD, my cycles changed slightly as my body settled down. OV was occasionally different but AF always arrived on 14 DPO, irrespective of when I OVd.
If I've now got a -ive OPK and also a temp rise, is it likely that I OVd yesterday? If I am going to OV tomorrow, my OPK would still have been +ive wouldn't it?
I'm just a bit confused. Can't really face DTD again tonight as we're both exhausted, but at the same time, don't want to miss my chance... Can anyone offer any advice?
TIA.
