First round of clomid didnt work, hello period. Oh well, next!

The nurse basically said 'well your eggs are 39 and that is the reason you aren't pregnant.' Is there anything we can do to improve our eggs?!

I have been reading about the HCG injection, is this part of IVF treatment or can I have it?!

A HCG injection can be used alongside clomid but as far as I know usually isn't. Its job is to make eggs that are mature ripen ready for release.

That nurse was bloody rude. Plenty of late 30s/early 40s women get pregnant, although more women do have problems at that sort of age.

Are you ovulating on your own or are you being given clomid for ovulation induction?
