TTC#2 for 13months advice please on going to the doctors

Hi All,

Me and DP have been TTC#2 for about 13months now and we have not had much luck. I am currently on CD31, my cycles are normally every 30 days except for last month when it was 34. If af shows up this month then we have decided to go to the doc's.
I am actually terrified of this so just really wanted some advice n what to say and what to ask for??

I have a DD already from a previous relationship that i concived with straight away she is nearly 6. I am 28 and my DP is 32 he has no other children and he is really keen to start a family. We have taking some steps to improve health we have lost some weight cut down on the drinking last thing i need to do get DP to so is give up the fags.

Any advice would be great.

I went to doc in feb had been trying less than you, was fine - doc (youngish and female) v sympathetic and clearly sees a lot of couples in such situation. I did a 21 day ov test twice, dh had sperm analysis twice, I had one scan and there is nothing obviously wrong, we now have apps with the fertility specialist in 2 weeks. So expect a fair bit of to-ing and fro-ing but all areas do it differently. Best of luck to both of us.
