2ww - testing 9th july 2012?

Hi, Anyone else currently in the dreaded 2ww and testing early July? I am currently 3 DPO and its my 1st month of ttc baby no.2 :)

Oooh, ooh, me, me! AF is due next Wednesday - 4 July. But I may crack and test before... This is my first TTC cycle and I'm symptom spotting like a mad woman! Probably these things happen every month but I just didn't notice because I wasn't trying to TTC!

LOL that sounds exactly like me! I wish I was a few days earlier..! I have a few internet cheapies which I may use from around the 4th..! Just want to know either way! I hope you get a BFP either on or before the 4th.. :) It would be awesome to concieve on the first cycle!!! :)

I am testing around 12th July. I think I just ovulated, the opks said yes but it just didn't feel right to me.

Will be a complete miracle if I get a BFP as only dtd once this month . Best of luck to you both. I am trying for no 2, on cycle 3.

Ooooh me too :-) I'm in my first month of TTC too and am currently symptom spotting like you LatieK :-) Af due around 7th I think so that makes me 6dpo!! fx for us all :-)

ohh good luck to you all! im not 100% confident about this cycle either due to the timings in regards of doing the deed! lol we dtd on the 2 days I got my positive opk but still confused as to if that is even the right time to do it or too late/early.. lol I got a positive opk on the sunday and monday but apparently didnt ovulate until the tuesday so who knows..!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid - If you dont mind me asking did you use opk's or charts etc when ttc your first little one?

Oh can I join in the spotting! I have 3DC so this would be the 4th! we were not trying so if I am it would be a lovely surprise (not so much for DH lol) I woke up on Monday and thought oh god I have felt like this before and they are called Tom & Teddy lol! I am due AF on the 7th

I tried to use the charts but was rubbish at taking my temp so gave up on that.

I used opks and am using them again now. We started trying in Jan 10 and got pregnant in May 10. I piled way too much pressure on dh, forcing him to dtd from cd8 to cd 20, he loves sex but hated ttc.

We both got really stressed ttc and in May we I decided to have a break that month. We dtd once 5 days before ovulation and got pregnant.

I am trying to be more relaxed this time round. I still love opks though. This month I got positives for Wed and Thurs, normally I only get one day of positive tests.

Thats amazing that you got preg after only dtd 5 days before ovulation :) I hope we have timed it all right but if not then I spose it is abit too much to ask for first cycle! I have been charting on FF from the beginning of this cycle but not sure if its all that accurate with the temps etc as im such a novice! Also im trying not to get too sucked into the whole thing but its impossible not to during the 2ww lol! When I concieved my daughter in Aug 09 we weren't actively trying just taking a relaxed approach and it worked 3rd cycle.. Maybe thats the way forward?!

seatfor5 - What symptoms did/do you have? I don't remember having any last time apart from missing AF LOL

With my first I was late so tested (not planned) My second and third I knew straight away a least a week before AF was due! I have back ache, Really sore boobs, spots, smells have gone mental and I feel sick all the time - If I am not PG (as have all these now) then I will be seeing the Doctors to see what IS wrong with me!

I know, pregnant having dtd 5 days pre ovulation. But the four / five months previously we dtd every other day and twice around ovulation without getting pregnant.

I definately favor the relaxed approach. It is easier said than done though to remain chilled out. We have only dtd twice this month. Part of me thinks, that's fine no worries, the other thinks argh that's not enough.

I'm TTC baby no1. Currently on cycle two, 2DPO. Since 3DPO I've had very bad abdominal cramping, tonight is the first evening cramp free! I've had light headed moments and today I noticed creamy cm. Suddenly this evening my boobs have started to hurt a little but I don't know if I'm imagining it!

Sorry that should have been I'm on 6DPO!

I am also aiming to test on the 7th if I haven't gone stir crazy, or had a visit from AF by then. Only hitch is that dh is away for the weekend so if there was good news I'd have to tell mumsnettors before him! Hence may try testing on the 6th.

Have pain in small of my back today, is that good?? I'm TTC #1 so don't know it feels. TTC for 8 months now.

I will be testing 6 days early on Monday 2nd July...to be honest I have so many cheapie tests I'll probably test every morning next week

Think I'm 5dpo!

I got implantation cramps last month, it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy but it definitely happened. I also had a tiny amount of blood (I went looking for it - sorry tmi). This was all 8dpo.

The cramps felt like period pain, which for me is in my lower back. Fx there is something implanting for you both.

I'm only 2/3 DPO.

seat and when regarding this backache what does it feel like, stupid question I know.
I have backache and I never have backache- does feel like I naggered it lifting something it i haven't lifted anything. Mostly down the bottom but now further up. Anyone know what could cause backache in pg this early on? I just don't get it, is it perhaps just hormonal?

With DS2 i had back ache from 4DPO and it didnt go until I had him as it turned into SPD! It is a hormone thing your body relaxes muscles :)

Oh bum what is spd? Good I suppose that it can be a good sign tho!

seat I had spd (it is also know as pelvic girdle pain Christelle).

I only got mine from week 15 onwards, was gutted I had only just got over the morning sickness / epic tiredness. Poor you getting it before implantation. Are you nervous about another pregnancy, I hear it can be worse second time round.

I really want a baby but I am just remembering how much I hated being pregnant 1st time round.

Christelle I forgot to say I also had back ache, just felt like muscular pain / period pain from 5weeks to 8 weeks pregnant. Apparently it is just the uterus stretching out to make room for the embryo.

Think you are right about this being a symptom spotting thread, I am only 2 DPO and my nipples are really sore. must stop obessing

Hello all, I'm testing on Friday the 6th. Also a symptom spotter!! Creamy cm, cramping a couple of days ago and nausea the last couple of days. I had a mmc around 9 weeks ago so fingers crossed

ohh it all sounds very promising for us all so far (symptom wise!) I had some period like cramping yesterday (5DPO) but then maybe I get that every month but just don't notice it! Really hope this is it for us all! We should keep this thread alive and kicking until we get our results! At least one of us has to be in for some good news to share.....?!
