Wanting to find out risks of having another DC

I had a difficult birth with DC1 - severe blood loss (I can never spell the medical term for it) as my womb would not contract. I was HDU for a couple of days. Also had quite severe PND.

I am toying with the idea of another, but not sure I can face risking the same sort of birth and want to speak to someone about the chances of it happening again. I also want to speak to someone about chance of PND recurring. Who do I speak to about this? GP in first instance? Is there a midwife at the hospital who deals with this sort of thing?

I didn't want to read and run, but don't really know I'm afraid - I would have thought that your GP (if they are any good) would be a good place to start really.
