morning sickness but negative tests????

hiya.

My af is around 1 week late. Had terrible period pains last week but no period. Done 2 tests both were negative. But yesterday everything smelt awful (fridge, my daughters drink etc) and today i am feeling sick as hell. could the tests be wrong??
Also i drink alot of water ( around 10 pints a day) would that affect the tests???

well just did another test and still negative so phoned the doctors and explained. i cant have a blood test till i see a gp and the earliest they can get me to see a doctor is next thursday . great! will probably go insane by then!

I'm no expert but I would have thought that drinking so much may well dilute the level of hormone. Have you tried testing with First Morning Urine?

not yet. think i might give it a go at the weekend. problem is i drink at night and pee during to night as well! so will have to hope its not too diluted. did explain this to the doctors . didnt get a positive preg test with my daughter till my period was 2 weeks late either
