I've posted in a thread about this last week....suffered a missed MC end of April & AF arrived 4 weeks later. DTD around my fertile/OV week this month & had some spotting afew days after & cramps the week after that. AF should of arrived a week ago & I have done a (4) strip tests over the last few days..& one this morning - all BFN. Yet I am having a few common pregnancy symptoms & its made me very confused. Has anyone experienced anyhting similar after a MMC or has any advice please? I would really appreciate it. I'm thinking of seeing the doctor as I'm that worried something is wrong. :(

Hi wifey, sorry to hear about your MC.
I had a miscarriage at the end of March, started AF a month later and like you my next AF was late.
I did a pregnancy test which was negative when I was a day late and assumed it was just that the miscarriage was still affecting my cycle.
When I still hadn't started my AF a week later I got some advice and was told it probably was due to hormonal changes after MC but I could test again. At 8 days late I got a faint line so I got a clearblue digital which said I was pregnant but only estimated 1-2 weeks post conception, by dates I thought it should have been longer. Unfortunately I went on to miscarry again at 6 weeks.
If you ovulated a bit later in your cycle than normal due to MC could it still be a bit to early for you to get a BFP even if you are pregnant?
Speaking to your GP and getting some advice might put your mind at ease.
Good luck

Irish....so sorry for your loss Sad
Well there is no chance of pregnancy now as we only DTD in my fertile week & not since. Sad Saw the doctor & she said my body could just be adjusting to the MC & is doing blood work next week. Sad

AF arrived last night so that makes it a week late. A bit Sad but also pleased as it means there's nothing wrong Smile
Wasn't warned that AF could be erratic after MMC. Well we have decided now that we do want to ttc again...
Scared after MMC...so can anyone point me in the direction of any threads for woman like me please...? Thank you x

Hi wifey, I had a mmc last April and it took a good 6 months for my cycles to return to normal. It was heartbreaking as each month it was different and each month I built it up. Try not to let ttc again take over. I became obsessed with trying to become pregnant again and it probably stopped me falling pregnant!!! Good luck x

Hi sorry about your mmc and AF arriving so late :(
I've just had my 2nd AF since mc and that was 4-5 days late too. I was just starting to get hopeful when she decided to arrive.
Hope you have good news soon

figaro & dilly....so sorry for your losses. Sad
I guess the body suffers more than I realised...if I am honest I felt so let down by my body that I didn't care what it had gone through...I was new worried about the emotional side.
But one thing it did make me realise is that although I would of been scared if I had been pregnant this time...I wouldn't of been disappointed. So we have decide to try when AF buggers off!

Sorry for your loss. I had a mmc in December. I had 3 months after of weird cycles, spotting and feeling like shit with coughs and colds. By the end of month 4 I was back to normal and pregnant! I'd really recommend taking vitamin B6 which helps regulate your cycle, vitamin d and of course folic acid if ttc. I also took high dose vitamin c and zinc which is meant to help with your immune system and zinc for fertility and libido.

Wow that's great bonzo Smile....just been told I have a vitamin b deficiency so am boosting my vitamins from now on!! Thank you for the recommendations.
