Period is late but four pregnancy tests have been negative!

TTC and period is now 6 days late (and I have very regular periods with a cycle of 28-29 days). However I've done four pregnancy tests and they've all been negative (I did two on Tuesday morning first thing, one on Wednesday evening and one yesterday morning first thing). I really thought I might've come on when I got up this morning but no.

Just wanted to offload really. After all this time I'm going to be so gutted if I do have a period! But if I am pregnant why hasn't it shown up on a single test?

which brand did you use? apparantly the pink line ones (not blue) are more sensitive. I know somebody recommended superdrug own brand to me.

Good luck!

The first two were cheap and cheerful, two for £1.50 made in China, that I got from the local pharmacy, the other two were Co-op own brand. All pinky-purple-y lines. Maybe the £1.50 ones weren't a great idea but I've been led to believe pregnancy testing is a pretty simple process and the likes of Clearblue are a rip-off.

Thanks Stacey, I might take a trip to Superdrug later.

superdrug ones are about £5 for 2 so not majourly expensive, i've never used clearblue :)

I recommend clearblue digital at this stage to be honest.... I conceived the first month of trying but like you used four tests... Two were the cheap ones and it was very hard to tell what the result even was from those. I then went out and bought two expensive ones including a clearblue digital which gives the rough length of the pregnancy so far eg conceived a week ago, two weeks ago, etc. both those tests came up positive and the clearblue digital was the most informative.... it came up IMMEDIATELY as two weeks pregnant.

It was expensive but I was glad i had got it... Decisive results and gave extra info!
