2nd AF after Missed MC hasn't arrived but BFN???

Suffered a missed MC end of April & had a horrendous AF exactly a month later :(
Have sort of been trying, but not if that makes sense. Fertile/OV week was from 3-7th June & DTD 3rd & 5th. Had spotting 8th & 9th with pains the following week. My cycle before MC was bang-on time, very predictable start etc. have taken a strip-test today which is BFN. So where is it?? Is this common in Missed MC
My AF was due 2 days ago.

Perhaps the pain a week later was ov? So your not late yet?
I'm slightly behind you in that I mc 5 wks ago but I still havnt had my first af yet and I did opk just to see what was going on and I ovd a week later then usual, I have seen alot of people say that after a mc the cycles are all over the place for a good 3 months

It's so frustrating isn't it?
Like I said we are not crazily ttc but I would like my body to feel a bit more normal- IYSWIM?

hi, I had a MC at the end of March, AF came a month later, we ttc again, then when I was a day late for my next AF I did a preg test and got a BFN ,was disappointed but not surprised and had a nice glass of wine with my tea. By the next week AF still hadn't arrived so I did another test and got a faint positive. I rushed out to get a clearblue digital which said pregnant 1-2 weeks from conception. By dates I thought I should have been further along. When I saw my GP she said the tests often aren't accurate and not to worry. Unfortunately I started spotting shortly after and went on to miscarry.
I don't want to freak you out, if you are pregnant hopefully you'll get a BFP in a few days and all will be well, but I was surprised that I had got pregnant again so quickly after a MC especially as I'm 44,so it is possible! I had just assumed my previously very regular cycle had just been thrown by the MC.
I regret having that glass of wine even though realistically I know it's not connected.
However, if I'm late again and even if I got a BFN I'd wait a few days and test again!

Sorry to hear that Irish... thank you for sharing that with me though.
I will wait & see as it could of affected my body more than I realise.
